Toadstool has been adopted! 🥰
Adoption event with these babies!
Some of our amazing supporters sent us this video tonight- of them enjoying the paint and pints and live music at wild dogs. We’d love to see everyone else’s artwork from today. Feel free to show it off here! Post your pics. :)
Lending Paws a Hand adoption event hosted by Zoomies Funny Farm and Wild Dogs Brewing with special guest Binky & Bell! Come check out the pups, enjoy a cold beer, buy a tshirt and support animal rescue.
We’ll never know for sure, but there’s a pretty good chance that I’m the first person who has ever been lucky enough to kiss this sweet baby and shower him with so, so much love and affection. He’s gonna need a little time to build up his confidence and learn to trust people again, but he is such a squish, and he’s gonna make some family insanely happy one day. Emmett still needs to starts his heart worm treatment, and get a clean bill of health, but he will be available for adoption through Carolina Animal Rescue and Adoption once he’s healthy and ready. ❤️🐾❤️
Spent some time with Emmett today. He got a nice medicated bath to help soothe his skin, and of course chicken tenders to fill his little tummy. 🥰
Show me a more perfect pounce….. I’ll wait. :)
This little feathered friend literally crashed our puppy party today. Luckily I was able to give him a few minutes to recover before he flew off happily. But not before I made Forrest get me some Disney princess photos. Haha. Barn swallow maybe? Super cute, definitely. :)
It Takes a Village is here at Wild Dogs Brewing, and they brought puppies!
Zoomies got a heat press! Zoomies got a heat press! #DoGoodHaveFun
Yesterday was a busy day! Maybe our busiest day yet! And so, so good. 🏃🏻♀️➡️🐕🐾🛑🐈🐈⬛🏡🍻🧩We started the morning bright and early- up at 6:00 am to print flyers and head to Fayetteville. For those of you know don’t know Toph’s story- Bring Toph Home - she’s a young GSD who went missing back in February. There was a recent sighting of her off HoneyCutt Rd the day before, so we zoomed into action and spent 5 hours putting up flyers and contacting businesses to spread the word. We were on our way home for lunch and to check on our own pups when we got a call from Laura Schlossberg, a realtor in Fayetteville who had been taking care of some cats she discovered at one of her listed houses. Their human had gone into assisted living and sadly, her other family members chose to leave the cats behind. Thankfully, Laura is equal parts realtor and hero and had been feeding them and caring for them. She asked us for help in catching and them and even lined up possible homes ahead of time! As it turns out, they were too sweet to part with so one of them stayed with Laura and the other went home with our volunteer, Kristen Ripley! From there we drove to the other side of town to place some TNR cages for a colony Kristen had already been helping. And I got my first peek and what she does and all the work that goes into it!After spending the whole day in Fayetteville looking for Toph and flyer-ing neighborhoods, helping cats, and TNR- we headed back home to shower, eat, and change just in time for our puzzle fundraiser with Static Line Brewing Co!We were definitely exhausted, but also overwhelmed by the outpouring of support. Not only did we have a great time with the competition, but we also raised even more money through the sale of some of our t-shirts and bracelets! We ended up making about $300 yesterday- which is enough for our monthly basic TNR budget!Definitely not bad for a Wednesday!Thank you to everyone who came out, than
I hadn’t even gotten the hose out to fill it and she was already standing in it and giving me the look.
It’s a wild water puppy! And he even let me pet him. Haha.
