This young pup (currently being called Niko) is looking for a loving family to take him in. He was recently found as a stray on hwy 13 in Sampson county. His finder is unable to keep him long term, but has already done a 3 week stray hold while looking for the owners. Unfortunately, so far no one has claimed this sweet boy.

They estimate that he is a year or less in age, not microchipped, not neutered, and no knowledge of his vaccines or other health history. He seems to do well with most dogs and cats.

If you’d like to know more or meet him in person, please send us a message so that we can put you in touch with his current caregivers.

This guy.

Cute little Oompa Loompa (who also looks just like our Fuzzy Lumpkins) apparently went on an impromptu and unsupervised adventure last night. 😩

Our friend from Carolina Animal Rescue & Adoption where he was adopted alerted us this morning, and asked us to an eye out cuz he only lives a few blocks away.

Don’t worry.
He’s home safe.

We went out to help, and luckily his family had his location narrowed to a pretty small area. After about an hour, we were able to corner him and catch him.

Oompa is back home, his family is happy, and all is well. Plus I got to snuggle his cute face. So I’m happy too!

Well, thanks to some surprise availability on the Spay Neuter Veterinary Clinic of the Sandhills shuttle bus, we snuck in 7 more last minute kitties to finish out the month! Plus one lucky pup, Gizmo, got fixed today at the Sandhills Spay Neuter Veterinary Clinic SNVC in Vass!

Our TNR and spay/neuter assistance total for the month: 57!

Kudos to all our amazing volunteers and the phenomenal staff at these clinics for getting it done!

Plus two sold out fundraisers, $4,000 in sponsorships, and a huge announcement coming Saturday..... Not a bad start to the year. And it's only just beginning!

Courtesy post: Oh my gosh!

Have you ever seen a bigger smile than this? 😁 This happy go lucky dude is so hopeful and optimistic that his gentle demeanor and charming grin will be all it takes to find a forever home.

Grayson is appropriately 3 years old and not yet neutered, though I’m told he has had a rabies vaccine. (I’m not entirely sure if it’s current). He gets along with other dogs, but would not be a good fit for a home with cats. They say that he’s great with children, and truly good natured.

He’s available for adoption/rehoming immediately. Please message for details if you are interested in meeting him, and I can put you in contact with his current human.

Let’s give credit where credit is due: this is all Forrest. Haha. My only real contribution was volunteering him for the job. 😂 But it is pretty cute, and we’re always happy to collaborate and help! It’s a great event and we’re thrilled to be able to be a part of it again this year to raise awareness. If you aren’t signed up yet- rescue groups are always welcome, and if you want to be a vendor or food truck head over to Jade's Jam/Project Jade to ask for an application.

What a fantastic day we’ve had!

Look at all these amazing works of art and all these happy, smiling faces! We made tons of new friends today, and raised quite a bit of money to help more animals and people in our community. One lucky person even walked away with a surprise entry (worth $100) into our next big fundraiser!

We’re so grateful to everyone that came out, and we truly appreciate the opportunity make all these wonderful connections and host these types of fun events.

We’ll definitely be doing another one. 🥰

Howdy folks! 🤠 We're kicking off our first dine-in fundraiser of the year at Texas Roadhouse. Can I get a yeehaw! 🎉

From 3 to 10 PM on Thursday, February 6th, present this flyer at the Texas Roadhouse in Fayetteville and 10% of our food order will benefit our clinic. 🍴🐾 Funds raised from dine-in fundraisers help us spay and neuter rescue, shelter, and privately owned animals as well as feral cats as a reduced price. We appreciate your support. 🙌❤️
