What a gift it was to have Gayle King donate an equine massage for Ace this weekend. Ace sustained an injury last week that has him on rest and away from his herd for a couple weeks. Her expertise and compassionate touch have made a world of difference for Ace, and we are incredibly grateful for her kindness. Watching Ace relax under her skilled hands, it is clear that Gayle has a special gift for understanding and caring for horses.

We are so thankful for the strong support network we have within our community. Each professional brings their unique talents and dedication, contributing to the health and happiness of our beloved equine friends. A big thank you to Northland Church! During Northland Church’s Serve Day yesterday, 35 volunteers generously dedicated their time to assist us in completing a major project and handling general maintenance tasks around the farm. Their efforts included rebuilding a fence line in one of our arenas, trimming low branches, weed-whacking the entire farm, cleaning the barn, fixing gates, and uplifting everyone with their joyful and generous spirits. We are truly amazed by all that was achieved in just 3 hours. We are so grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you! 🙏🐴

Volunteers for Horse Handlers + Side Walkers play a critical role in the success of our programs at CHAPS. Horse handlers assist with grooming, tacking up, untacking, and leading the horse during sessions and help provide essential care for our horses. Side walkers assist during sessions by walking alongside the participant and provide extra support when needed. To ensure the safety and well-being of our students and animals, all volunteers undergo thorough orientation and training. Continuous education and support are always provided throughout your volunteer journey. ❤️
