Willie has been there done that broke. He is patterned on the barrels, I’ve roped the dummy off of him, and used him to help push cattle. He’s also gone on many trail rides. Willie stands tied, loads and hauls well, good for baths, the farrier, and the vet. You can leave him turned out for months catch him and ride off. He’s never offered to buck, kick, or bite. Willie rides around very correct and soft. Moves off legs and has a good whoa. Stands to be saddled and takes a bit effortless. He will also ride ba****ck with a halter. Do not let his age fool you he still wants to work. Not a beginners horse.

Lolo has spent most of her life as a trail horse and was recently lightly started on the barrel pattern. She has been hauled to several local barrel races and playdays. She could be patterned on all the playday events or continue to go down the trails. She is not spooky and handles new locations well. Lolo has even been to the Martha Josey clinic earlier this year. She gets along with other horses and all animals. Lolo’s current owner has decided to pursue barrel racing and has bought a finished horse and decided to find Lolo a new home that has more time for her. She has good ground manners and is gentle. Texas has been the humid it’s been in a long time, and it’s something we’re having to watch closely. Moist air makes hot weather even more dangerous to ride in because it slows the rate at which sweat evaporates. Here’s a rule of thumb formula to follow:

𝙰𝚒𝚛 𝚝𝚎𝚖𝚙𝚎𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚎 + 𝚑𝚞𝚖𝚒𝚍𝚒𝚝𝚢 = 𝚊𝚗𝚜𝚠𝚎𝚛

𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟭𝟯𝟬: 𝘼𝙡𝙡 𝙞𝙨 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙. Horses can function properly to cool themselves.
𝟭𝟯𝟬-𝟭𝟱𝟬: 𝘾𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. You run the risk of overheating.
𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟱𝟬: 𝙃𝙖𝙯𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙤𝙪𝙨. Avoid riding or working horses entirely.

Sugar 9yr old 13.3H bay pinto grade mare

Sugar is just as sweet as her name! She is incredibly gentle and safe for anyone. Sugar loves attention. Stands well for grooming, bathing, and saddling. She has good ground manners and is incredibly kind, you can crawl all over her and under her. Sugar has been used as a kid lesson horse for intermediate beginners and up and trail horse her whole life. Sugar goes anywhere you point her at the speed you ask. She would make a great addition to a lesson program or for a kiddo needing to build confidence riding alone. She is not phased by anything. She would also make a good lead line playday pony. She is by no means fancy but is super fun to ride. Will neck rein around or direct rein. Has smooth gaits and a good whoa. She is not spooky at all and gets along with other horses and animals. Sugar is partially blind in her left eye and her price reflects that. However this does not bother her at all in her day to day life. If you’re looking for a safe sweet horse then she’s the one.

Rusty is one of the most easiest horses to be around. Not to mention he’s shapey and cute! He’s got no silly business to him and a good willing to work personality. He wants to please. He has good ground manners, leads, stands tied, and trailers good. Picks up all 4 feet and is good for the farrier. Rusty has been used on a ranch most of his life, pushed cattle, checked fences, and sorted cattle. He moves off leg pressure and picks up his leads. Walk, trots, lopes, and has a good woah. Katy is safe for anyone! She is very sweet and in your pocket. She is very easy to catch, leads, loads and hauls, bathes, is good with her feet, and stands tied. Katy is most recently been a family horse and used for occasional trail rides and to lead line the grandchildren around. Katy has carried all levels of riders and is broke enough to go through the playday patterns, she would make a good lead line horse or for someone wanting to go through the patterns at a slower pace. She is a great trail horse, has been used for jumping, and a broodmare. Katy is easy to get along with. She can be left turned out for 6 months get on and go. She is one hand broke and has a good whoa. She will go the speed you ask. She will walk, trot, and lope and pick up her correct leads. I do not have papers in hand so I am selling as grade. Previous owner is trying to locate her papers. Katy would also make a great addition to a lesson program.

Barbie 15yr old 14.2hh sorrel grade mare

Barbie has most recently been used in team sortings and is fancy broke. She has a good whoa and moves off your legs. She does have a motor but she is safe and gentle enough for the kids. She is quick footed and fun to ride! She is the most non mareish mare I have seen. Sweet and easy going personality. Barbie stands to be saddled, for the farrier, and to be bathed. No buck, bite, or kick. She is not bothered by anything and is very quiet. Barbie could also make a fun playday horse or trail horse. Flea was born and used at the Clarendon college in the feed yard program. Since then he has been used extensively outside. Flea has a cool personality and a lot of try. He would be a cool mount for a handy kid! This guy rides around correct and soft. He could go in any direction. Could make a fun youth rodeo or playday horse. OR would make a nice heel or calf horse. He’s as wide as he is tall. Very easy keeper.

Rooster has been started tracking the breakaway dummy and has been used outside some. He has been used to drag calves on and pen back at the sale barn. He is a sweet willing gelding that needs more miles. Rooster could go in any direction and will excel in the barrel and roping pen! Good minded and ready to be finished out your way. Put together the way you want them! He is watchy on the ground, just needs to be handled more and shown the sights. Is going to make a nice barrel or rope prospect.

Ringo is a very sweet in your pocket gelding. He is the first one to meet you out in the pasture. He’s had 90 days and started in western dressage. He has not offered to buck, kick, or bite. He’s been hauled to shows and seen the sights. Ringo is ready to continue training in western dressage or go in ANY direction. Ringo is very good minded and gentle. Ringo is safe enough to make a kids horse or be a good fit for an older rider. This horse has the potential to make someone a really nice horse. His sire is a 16 time world and res world champion!
