A while back, it became necessary for us, here at Jim a Dee Ranch, to find someone who knew Horses, and who could assess their needs, and recognize the nuances of their care. We had known her previously because she was giving lessons here, but her new job became Equine manager. I can tell you, we have never been more pleased with anyone. Besides knowing Horses, and what they need and want, Sharon Robertson deals with them with care and compassion. It is evident that she loves horses and relates to each of them in their own way. When a Ranch is in the business of the care and custody of someone else’s horse, it is paramount that only the “cream of the crop” have the responsibility of their care. without a doubt, Sharon, is that “cream”. There are not enough words to express our gratitude for the excellence with which she performs. There is not a scintilla of concern in our minds, as owners, that the horses boarded at Jim a Dee Ranch have the best person overseeing their daily needs. Thank you Miss Sharon For your incredible compassion, knowledge, and sense of responsibility.

We, at Jim a Dee, don’t do it all, but we offer a variety of options for those who board with us and, of course, their horses. We can offer year round activities, weather notwithstanding, day or night, in our 250 x 150, covered and wind screened with “Big Ass” fans, arena.

Spring has officially sprung‼️and as you can see our pastures are magnificently green and perfect for grazing. And, we have added 40ish more grazing acres which allows us more room for extra horses. We had a great day yesterday. Several people came to Jim a Dee Ranch's Desensitize to Confidence Workshop today. Everyone's horse stayed calm and connected while being exposed to many objects including water misters, helium balloons, pedestals, water obstacles, noise makers, balls, leaf blowers, a drone, flares and many more. Each horse was tested with noise, touch and movements all around their body. They went thru squeezes, under and over stuff and tested their feet in stuff. It was a great experience for each horse.

HORSE & RIDER MAKEOVER CLINIC SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 17-21 AT JIM A DEE ARENA

SANGER, TX. A Horse and Rider Makeover Clinic, presented by Elli Pospischill, a Happy Horse Happy Life Coach and Mentor as well as former 4* Parelli Horsemanship Instructor will be held at Jim A Dee Arena in Sanger, TX on June 17-21, 2022.

In this intensive five day course with an approach tailored to the individual pair, horse and rider are immersed in a program designed to greatly advance the rider’s horsemanship skills and horse-rider connection.

“This five day format allows each rider to develop short and long term strategies to reach his or her goals and live their dream, not just in these 5 days, but long thereafter,” said Pospischil. “We have had great success with similar programs at the incredible facilities of Jim A Dee. This new clinic format is going to be a life-changing experience for horse lovers who really want to improve their relationship with their horse and other aspects of their lives.”

All breeds and riders of all disciplines are welcomed and encouraged. The clinic involves groundwork and riding. There will also be hands-on simulations and some theory discussion.
This clinic is limited to 10 participants to ensure that each horse & human get individual attention.

Jim A Dee Ranch has open stalls, runs, and pastures open for boarding available NOW!
We are located in Sanger TX. We are a full care facility with staff who live on site! We have a large covered arena, 50 Foot Round Pen, Large warm up pen, large turnout pastures, no climb fencing for our runs, hot walker, and much more!
We do have stalls open for trainers, self care options are available as well. Please call Dee Brown for a tour at (502) 370-7200.
We do offer ring rentals, and truck ins for overnight stalls!
