Semi-Private Lessons
Fridays (starting the 24th)
Schedule times
Ages 3-6

$100 for a package of 4 lessons
Students learn from the ground up. The first lesson covers safety and getting the children comfortable with the horses. The next lesson is tacking up and getting on. The last two lessons are riding. Families have the option of continuing at the end of the 4 lessons!

With this cold snap we are going through feed and bedding twice as fast as usual! Our alfalfa runs $22 a bale. Coastal $28. Grain $14 a bag. Straw $11 per bale. Shavings $8.
Gift cards are gold! We shop at Tractor supply, D and L (Denton or Sanger), Atwoods (Gainesville) and a private hay supplier (Gold Star Hay).

Sad to say that the world’s lost another great! Most of you will remember Bishop. We rescued him in 2021 and he was so amazing that we kept him for our lesson program.
After time, we decided to retire him. He’s been with a wonderful family who has shown him so much love.
Thank you Bishop for being such a great guy and teaching so many families.

Teeth getting floated and hooves getting trimmed! This is important, routine care of all horses but many fall through the cracks. When our rescues come in, we get them on the right path with a refeeding program and then start them with regular, routine care.

NSR has the best barn help!! It was a little cold, but Kason didn’t care! He helped me feed both herds before mom made him go back inside!
