This extremely handsome fella is Duncan and he is ready to meet his new family.
Duncan was welcomed back into our program a few months ago when he had a urinary emergency. He's fully recovered and on a special diet to support his urinary health. Just eight years ago, Duncan and his siblings were rescued near the Atascadero Lake/Charles Paddock Zoo. He has since lived with other cats and dogs (but was very nervous about the dogs) preferring to keep his distance.
A quieter home would be ideal for this lovely cat.
Duncan and his emotional support floofy wand are ready to relocate to a new, loving home.
He is neutered, vaccinated, viral tested and microchipped.

It was an afternoon of sunshine and Goldens...all in the name of gathering for a good cause. We are very thankful of the SLO County Golden Retriever Group (a non profit, themselves) for inviting us again this year as the beneficiary of their annual 'Goldens In The Park' fundraising event. It was our pleasure to join them on this beautiful central coast day...to see dogs and their families having a blast.
We are able to answer the critical, life improving, life saving needs of our SLO pet families and animals in need because of supportive efforts just like this. #thegoodstuff

Ohhh, a big ol' thanks and hugs to the Trilogy Pet Club Crew for hosting another fundraiser/pet food/supply drive to support local non-profit animal organizations like ours! We joined them this afternoon with Butterfly, Cricket, Ladybug and Bumble Bee in tow and they did great for their FURst big adventure out of their foster home. #kittensinharnesses

When an advocate with the Paso Robles Hope & Faith Street Outreach called seeking assistance with a rapidly growing colony of cats living in a Paso riverbed homeless encampment, we knew we had to do something to help. This is out of our normal territory, but suffering knows no boundaries and neither should kindness. We learned there were 17+ adults and at least 18 kittens with one unhoused family taking it upon themselves to try and care for these cats. With their limited resources, they have been doing the best they can....buying food and supplies from the local Grocery Outlet and Tractor Supply and trying to keep the kittens safe from the resident (and very large) roosters. Our top priority is, of course, to have all cats spayed and neutered and thankfully, Woods North County could help us quickly get the adult cats on the surgery schedule. Twelve adult cats will be spayed and neutered by the end of this week and returned to the area, so this is a positive start. We also visited the encampment yesterday to start addressing the upper respiratory infections all of the kittens are suffering from...eye medication and supportive sub-cutaneous fluids were given to all of the kittens and the family will continue to administer the antibiotic eye meds as directed. All cats and kittens also received flea prevention treatments. (Thanks to our friend and Elanco Rep, Susan Holt).
Our local rescue groups, humane societies and shelters are overwhelmed and beyond capacity, yet we still hope to provide a chance for these young, friendly and sweet kittens to have brighter futures.

Hi all! Please help us welcome Jewel into our foster PURRogram. Although her life has been flipped upside down, when her mom was transferred into a memory care home, she has adjusted very well. All she wants to do is settle into your lap, cuddle under the blankets with you, play with her toys and then it's back to more snuggling.
