I purchased my heeler through a local breeder, and we lived in an apartment near the beach in Santa Barbara. It was very difficult as he was a ranch dog and living in an apartment at five weeks old. We had to walk him quite a bit and I even hired dog walkers because I w

orked full-time, and a single mom raising two boys on my own. Something triggered me inside to make a difference in what I was buying in a dog leash. I use to buy my dog leashes at the drug store for $11.00, but my dog kept chewing through these cheap leashes, as he would get excited, and nip at the leash once I started to walk him. Being a former professional trick-rider in PRCA rodeos, which I trained my trick horses with sturdy lead ropes, I wanted the same type of resilient dog leash for my dog. The idea of turning my dog leashes lingered on the back on my mind, but a real push came when I wanted something better for my dog. This interest was greater when I started to see my dog would benefit by my design. I knew I could make a real benefit for everyone who needs a dependable dog leash.
