Cat behavior is nuanced and should be handled on a case by case basis. It's easy to label a cat as "aggressive", but there's always more to the story.

In Moxie's case, she has been affectionate and playful at times, but other times she's unsure if she wants me there. What did you do with my family? Why do you bring different smells into my house? Think about it from the cat's perspective. My mom disappeared and this random lady shows up...what gives?

Over time, Moxie will learn that I have nothing but love for her. It just takes some patience, respecting of boundaries, and plenty of chicken treats!
