Alec and Chelsea are truly God sent! We have a one and a half year old Bernedoodle named Teddy. He has been displaying a lot of unwanted behaviors such as marking, jumping on people, grabbing food from the table, eating socks/ shoes/slippers to name a few! I have tried a private trainer in the past that did sessions with him at home and we even enrolled him in a group obedience class called zoom room and NOTHING helped. I reached out to Alec and after an initial assessment at home she took him in for three weeks to do a board and train. Teddy came back a totally different dog! It’s like he went to manners boarding school! His unwanted behaviors are gone. We now call him Teddy 2.0! So thankful and grateful for The Mannered Mutt! Thank you!

Nutella (formerly Guppy) is now 11 weeks old. Current on shots, super healthy very social with other dogs. Shy with new people and new environments. She needs a home with a private yard (less walks are best) and an established calm, confident male dog in the home. She also needs patient, loving people in her home. With the right people we know Nutella will blossom into a great family dog! And as a reminder, all of our fosters come backed with our professional dog training ☮️🐾

Hi, I’m Alec Torres and I love animals. Like a lot. So I started a nonprofit to help them.
Fueled by love, decades of experience and a desire to help the wave of animals finding themselves unhoused after the pandemic, I created Animal Foster Network.
With 20+ years of experience in rescue and dog training, I knew that a typical rescue organization was not the answer.
Animal Foster Network takes animals out of the shelter and sponsors them in homes with compassionate fosters so they can become their best selves and find their true forever homes 🐾

2 year old old soul Allie (Golden Retriever/ Shepherd Mix?) is looking for a foster or adoptive home in the Santa Clarita Area. She is new to our rescue the Animal Foster Network and is currently in boarding while a home is searched for. Allie is the Mother of foster pup Willow and is one of the Dawn Road desert dogs. She lived free in the desert while her puppies were taken into various homes but no one came for her. She is very sweet and demure and flips over easily for belly rubs. She is calm and easy around other dogs. She is currently 35 lbs but needs to gain about 5-8 lbs. Her beauty turns heads but will her soul capture your heart?
