My purpose includes collecting old guys off the streets!. 😻...it's all good.

Morning update!.
Sebastian keeps throwing up food...always wants to eat!.. poops normal. We are gonna need further evaluation. I will get to meet Larry this morning as I have a 9:30 vet appointment with Tarzan...looks like an infected rodent ulcer...or something worse...lets hope not. I have 2 dentals we desperately need to schedule also.

Here is an update on Larry... Larry is no longer a homeless street cat!. He spent the day at our vet...our amazing Dr Stone at Palm Plaza...where he is going to spend a few days!. Dr Stone says I have a habit of picking up old men off the streets!🤣🤣🤣🤣
He is soooooo skinny and was a little dehydrated. We did a snap test and thankfully he is negative for Fiv/Felv... we have no problem taking in cats with FIV... the problem is finding a place for FELV cats...seeing as our Sanctuary The Save A Kitty Sanctuary is free roaming. We do have an felv kitty currently with an amazing foster mom!. But we are relieved Larry was negative. We did a full blood panel. results back tomorrow. Larry is now a save a kitty Sanctuary kitty!. No more cold nights...no more hunger and loneliness. This is why we do what we do!.

Okay...this isn't a rant... its just a factual recount of what we are facing. Clearly we are one of only a handful of licensed Sanctuaries...devoted to taking in abandoned strays!....with a view to giving them a permanent home....and the word is on the street!. We recieve numerous requests a day to help homeless seniors!...and you know what... we probably could and would take in more!..but we simply can't afford to!. Our recent visit from Animal Control yielded another "A" rating with 100% score!. We weren't called out on anything!.. plus if I had asked for a limit increase we would have gotten it!. The issue here is....people are just not donating!.. yes we have our core supporters...and bless their hearts!... but we have a few giving Tuesday fundraisers posted...I think we are at $50.00...so I ask myself why?... the requests keep coming in for help with kitties...and if we had funding we could help more cats. So just putting this out there!.
