📣DE-SHED TREATMENTS ARE NECESSARY, NOT OPTIONAL! 📣

We are seeing a ton of huskies, german shepherds, australian shepherds, and other double-coated breeds coming in with itchy/yeasty skin. The thing in common with all of these clients is that they are only getting groomed 2-3 times a year, some even less. We HIGHLY recommend a de-shedding treatment (or a regular bath when the shedding is maintained) at minimum every 6-8 weeks for double coated breeds.

⚠️Read below about how an impacted coat can be detrimental and why it is important to come in more often. ⚠️

When your dog's undercoat becomes impacted/matted, natural body oils and dirt begin creating an environment where bacteria and yeast can grow. This can lead to other skin issues! Not to mention, your pup also looses their natural ability to temperature regulate! Our de-shed treatments help prevent the coat from becoming tightly packed, prevents further skin issues, and encourages temperature regulation on their own.
