Handsome “Chopper” is available for adoption at the Los Angeles City, West Valley Shelter in Chatsworth, California.

Chopper is struggling in the stressful Shelter environment, where he is rarely removed from the dog run. He is approximately one year of age, knows some obedience commands, seeks affection from the handler, loves to play in water and is urgent. Chopper needs to leave the shelter by July 25, 2024. 
Due to his kennel stress he is listed as “rescue only“. If you are interested in Chopper, please message the page so we can connect you with volunteers who can help you.

If you are looking for a very handsome, slightly older, German Shepherd with excellent temperament… Axle is your man.

Axle is approximately seven years old according to the shelter. He came into the Los Angeles County Carson Shelter with another male dog. He is now running out of time.
Axle is playful, friendly and looking to connect with a person. He would make an excellent companion.

Healthy, adoptable dogs at Southern California animal shelters are being euthanized due to overcrowding and shelter managers say the problem will persist unless more funds are allocated to help alleviate the issues.

We have several trained dogs available from local Los Angeles County and City shelters. All of them have stable temperament and are either on-leash obedience trained or started.

Once we place a number of these dogs we will be helping more dogs at the local shelters.

Disclaimer: We are not a rescue. We are doing this with our own funds and resources.
There is a great need in California to find homes for large breeds, especially German Shepherds and Malinois, which is the reason for our participation in helping to find them new homes .
