It's essential to protect our furry friends' paws from hot pavement, especially during the summer. Hot pavement can cause burns and discomfort to their sensitive paw pads. To keep them safe, try walking them during cooler times of the day, like early morning or late evening. You can also test the pavement with your hand – if it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for their paws. 🐾 Consider using dog booties or paw wax to provide a protective layer. And always make sure they have access to shade and water to stay cool and hydrated. Taking these precautions will help keep your dog's paws happy and healthy!

National Veterinary Technician Week is from October 15-21, it's time to show some love to our amazing technicians here at Pinnacle Veterinary Center! Special shout out to our amazing technicians on staff, Mindy, Christina, Diana, Sarah, and Hermione. We're grateful for their hard work, dedication, and passion for taking care of our furry loved ones.

Becoming a veterinary technician is not an easy walk in the park! Veterinary Technicians go through intense training to learn practical and medical skills to ensure they’re able to give pets the best care possible.

Veterinary Technicians are essential members of our veterinary hospital team. From those who assist in surgeries to those who help in the exam room, all of our technicians are incredibly skilled and play a crucial role in ensuring pet visits go smoothly.

Veterinary technicians do it all—from taking vital signs and giving vaccines to assisting in surgeries and educating pet parents. They provide endless comfort and love, making sure your furry friends feel at ease during their visits.

1️⃣ "Leaf" the toxic plants alone. 🌿 Some plants (and mushrooms) can be dangerous if ingested. 🍂

2️⃣ Candles are a great fall addition to your home. However, a knocked-over candle by a curious pet leads to trouble. 🕯️

3️⃣ Outdoor walks are paw-some, but stick to open areas and keep your pets secured on a leash to avoid harm's way. 🐾
