Hi there!!!

There’s always more behind the vendor you are hiring, so I thought I’d share a bit more of what goes on when I’m not flowering, as well as my thought process while I’m flowering.

Each and every single client I’ve worked with holds a special place in my heart. It’s truly an honor to be a part of their new chapter, and I’m forever grateful to be chosen to create for them.

I consider myself to be childish at heart, allowing play to guide my decisions, and be of inspiration. My heart pitter-patters when I meet the usual and unconventional, yet I have a deep appreciation for romance and ruffles.

I’m an outdoor enthusiast, challenging myself to long distance hikes, and exhilarating outdoor adventure with my kids (ask me about cold plunging in the snow!). I look for the unique, unusual, wild (and at times raw) adventure, which allows me to grow and connect with my kids as we explore the unknown.

I take extreme pride in utilizing local flowers for 99.9% of my designs, growing some, but also bringing in stems from the many very talented growers in Santa Cruz county. I refuse to use floral foam, or added chemicals in an effort to assure we are leaving this planet better than we found it.

And lastly, I want to create for you, and your unique style. Whether that be romantic and lush, light and airy, dark and moody, or vibrant and edgy.

Pressing your bridal bouquet??

When you book my services, it’s automatically comes with color correction. I’ve learned the hard way that no matter what method of press used, flowers eventually lose all their color. Some flowers even turn completely different colors (I’m looking at you Lisianthus!)

There is a beauty in their patina once pressed, but many brides want to see their bouquet made into art in the way that they remember it from their wedding day. Color correction is the only way to make that happen in a pressed preservation method.

As I gaze at the remaining 2024 clients who entrusted me to preserve a moment in time for them to remember forever, it’s with complete gratitude that I get to live this amazing floral life!!!

Reflecting on the treasure of G+D’s wedding, and what a true delight it was to design for them!

Purples, blues, and rich magenta brought a beautiful pop of color their magical day, and I LOVE how it turned out!! Sweet, delicate and romantic, yet so lush and refined!!!

Huge kudos to my gal Rebecca for dreaming up the decor that brought elegance to the day, and romance to the vibe!!

An extra special thanks for for sharing these beautiful images, and expertly capturing not only the small details, but the love that filled the air between these two!!!

The beautiful made me tear up a little when I finally got to see these incredible shots from 🫶🏻💗🔥

See I’m not just designing bouquets based on what is in season (although that is a pillar of my foundation). I’m not just designing based on what currently looks good (although I’m always selecting the best of the best). I’m definitely not designing based on a preconceived idea of what the design should be (rather I let the beauty of nature speak to me when it comes time).

I’m designing for the person who will receive it; carry it down the aisle as they step into their next chapter; and be able to look back on it for years to come, through stunning captures of moments in time.

I’m designing for a combination of factors. Between a vision shared with my clients and planners, the cream of the crop grown by local, talented flower farmers, and what I know will make a clients heart explode with surprise and delight.

Each delivery of a bridal bouquet fills me with so much glee, and excitement, and is by far my favorite reveal to experience for each event.

Gratitude to my clients who have trusted me to bring the magic to their day, through local, sustainable, and ephemeral blooms!!!

Burned the midnight oil the last couple of nights, servicing two beautiful weddings. Two beautiful couples. Two beautiful opportunities to remember how blessed I am to not only grow flowers, but to use them (along with stems from my fellow growers! 👊🏻💥) to create magic, wonder, and enchantment for my clients.

Something about these mulberry shade has me head over heels!!!!

Practice makes PROGRESS, not perfection. I’m not perfect (really no one is), and I take the time to appreciate challenging, learning, working towards my end goal.

I relish in the nuance. I love a good quirky detail. I listen to what nature is telling me. Then I use it to create a harmony that sings to my people who love and adore taking cues from nature as much as I do.

When I travel, I try to see other farmers. Support them in their endeavors. Ask them questions learn from them.

I could have gone to a lavender farm. I could have gone to a honey bee farm. Heck there is even a new butterfly farm on this island!

But I chose goats. 🐐

Why? Because I want to add them to my line up. Not for goat yoga. Not for grazing services, but for kids (🥁…see what I did there??).

See I’m envisioning a new phase of the farm. While I’m not ready to fully disclose this new dream, I am starting to talk about it so the universe knows I’m serious.

This vision would bring community, connection, and collaboration to the farm. It will be a sanctuary. A place for healing. A place for gathering. A place for celebrating.

So while my main focus is always, and will continue to be weddings, and flowers, I hope you’ll join me in summoning this enormous feat we’ve been working towards for well over a year now. And once we’ve arrived (soon… I hope…come on universe 🙏🏻) you’ll know… and I’ll be there to welcome you with open arms (and of course gorgeous flowers)
