“We have 46 canines, 160 felines and 23 rabbits/roosters and guinea pigs looking for homes. All felines are $50 and all other species are half off.”

❤️‍🩹This pitiful little baby angel needs RESCUE ONLY at HRAS in Salinas.❤️‍🩹
Here's what was said about him:
"I named this youngster Pretzel. I don’t know what his name used to be, as he was found “stray” in north Salinas and guess what? No one has come looking for him.
Pretzel is about 18 months old and severely underweight at 54 lbs. He is worried and scared but he has a puppy’s heart and he comes around very quickly with a little love and tenderness. Someone took the time to train him to sit on command and he seemed thrilled to show me that he did indeed know what that meant. His eyes shone brightly as he sat and waited for his reward.
His skin has started getting better with just basic care from our shelter clinic staff, but the truth is that he will take months to fully recover. He needs to slowly gain weight with small, nutritious meals. He needs regular baths with soothing shampoo.

He needs a rescue commitment to live. Pretzel was on the euthanasia list because of his condition and, sadly, because of his breed. The assumption was that he would never find rescue.
Other dogs are ok with him, as long as they’re nice to him.
Transfer to approved rescue partner needed ASAP
