Doreck Show Cattle and Doreck's Meat Market are currently taking deposits for 1/2 and whole sides of beef to fill your freezers! Whole carcasses will weigh around ~800-950lbs on their hanging weight and will cost 4.99/lb.
(You will have loss in processing by trimming off fat and cutting out bones, 400lb hanging weight DOES NOT mean you walk out with 400lbs of processed beef)
This is the most cost efficient way to feed your family some high quality beef! WE pay the processing/cutting and wrapping fee (1.29/lb on the hanging weight + 100$ kill fee) and cut it custom YOUR way!
Example: 400lb hanging weight on a 1/2 side of beef X 4.99/lb = $1,996 out the door beef in hand with cuts like ribeyes, sirloin, filet mignons/NY strips or T-bones, brisket, hamburger etc.
Deposits are $500 (cash/check to Doreck Show Cattle) or $517.50 (credit card)

Getting back drop photos from cattle wearing our brand is something we will never get tired of, but these are the kind of videos that really get our hearts pumping! Jason McMullen was one of the very first customers we had and if you follow him on social media you know he’s been at the top of the Florida/Georgia game for many years. This is a super flashy female that will wear his brand, but is out of MISS DSC 02/8, one of the very first One-Bar-One branded females! The show ring is only a small part of their lives, the rest is spent in production! Don’t lose sight of GOOD cattle!

We aren’t sure what’s hotter, the weather we’ve been having or these 2 females! Everyone’s been asking what we have available so here they are!
2 full sisters out of MR. V8 48/8 “Elvis” X “Kahlua”
“Elvis” of course being the sire of the 2022 Reserve Grand Champion at the International Brahman Show who needs no introduction, and “Kahlua” who was not only a standout in her show career but also now getting the job done in the pasture as these calves are maternal sibs to the Calf Champion at the San Antonio junior show in 2023. The genetics and phenotype are HERE, don’t be on the wrong side of these halters come National show!

This was a video from about a year ago, and I thought it was too good not to share. I added the caption at the top and you can see it became one hell of a set of calves. We try our hardest to work with the calves at a young age to ensure they understand people are their friends and reduce the amount of stress during weaning and halter breaking. I love watching the transition from young calf to a show calf in its prime, the feed and man hours it requires to make that transition a good one is never cheap or easy, but at the end of the day it’s worth every drop of blood, sweat, and tears.
