Sad or happy news, depending on your perspective. As Buddha... or the great Bluey once said, "We'll see."
We are moving to Colorado!
I had hoped to have one more market at the wonderful Bay Area Farmers Market; however, we won't have enough produce to sell.
This was our proof-of-concept farm, and we apparently did it in the most inhospitable summer climate possible. Anything after this will be a walk in the park, field, or row.
We are now moving to Colorado to be closer to family and we are in the process of looking for property to start an even bigger farm.
THANK YOU to the so many customers who encouraged us and offered valuable feedback like "Your okra sucks." Without your feedback, we would have kept picking tough okra never to stumble upon our pickled okra recipe. HA
"We will see" what this move means for us as we keep looking to improve our plot in life. But I am so grateful to have been part of multiple farmers markets, like the Bay Area Farmers Market and Galveston's Own Farmers Market. Thank you both for having me and I wish everyone there all the best, especially during the months of July, August, and September. These months will not be missed.
Thank you all again and do reach out if you drop by Colorado. The state is full, there's no more room, but we do welcome visitors!
