At Kenz Henz Farm, we pasture our chickens from sun up to sundown. Our girls are outside most all d Well, 22 years ago, I moved to Santa Fe to start a hatchery.

When Kyle turned 5 years old, he came to me and said he wanted to play baseball. So as most of you know, the rest of the story and I coached him for the next 11 years or so in football, baseball and basketball. As they say, history repeats itself. I am again attempting to open a hatchery with poultry. I currently have about 900 hens that are laying about 400 eggs a day and will get up to 500-600 e

ggs a day before it slows down again. In the spring (or maybe earlier) I am going to start incubating eggs from the 10 breeds of birds that I currently have at the farm. Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rocks, Delaware X's, Americaunas (Easter Eggers), Red S*x Links, Black S*x Links, Astrolops, Buff Orpingtons and Red Broilers. I will be selling to the public as well as local feed stores. I currently sell eggs from the farm for $4.50 a dozen for normal sized eggs and $5.50 for Jumbos. These birds (as you can tell by the photos) are free range from dusk to dawn only to be put up at night in their secure pens. Feel free to call me anytime for questions or to see if eggs are available. I advertise on Craigslist and Facebook for sales. We have now set up a NON GMO egg, ZERO corn ZERO soy. It’s available In HEB in a few stores. In Kroger it’s available in all Houston area locations. We do it right. Without you we wouldn’t be able to provide what we believe is the highest quality best tasting eggs in the nation!

Good evening all! Just a heads up, I have had several customers call me asking if they can come out to the farmhouse and buy our eggs directly off of the farm. They are concerned with the listeria and E-Coli issues confronting grocery stores. Are they overly concerned? Thats only a decision each of us have to make for our family and friends. If you are concerned, we do sell our eggs, from X-Jumbo to Medium eggs. They have different price ranges and bulk is less expensive than individual. We are open from 8:30 to 3:30 daily and we are open 7 days a week. We accept venmo, cash, checks and cards for purchasing. We are located at 4602 Tower Rd in Santa Fe, Texas. Hello all! I hope everyone is having a great day. Not to alarm anyone, but in these uncertain times, each of us has to decide what our risk are for our families and friends. We have ports closed down across the Eastern Coast to Texas, Iran is bombing Israel with over 250 ballistic missiles as I type this. We have a very contentious election coming up with potential for major riots on either side if there candidate does not win.

As a reminder, we do sell our pastured eggs freeze dried in cans that are packaged with 4 packets of 10 eggs per packet. These eggs are good for up to 10 years on the shelves. We sell a sealed #10 can of these eggs for $70 for 40 eggs and they only need to add water and cook. They hydrate in 15 to 20 minutes and are ready to cook.

Again, not trying to panic anyone, just a heads up and a reminder that we have them for sale.

SPECIAL, SPECIAL,SPECIAL…..Good morning all! Our older birds are knocking out the Jumbo eggs and our young ones can’t conquer the heat! Sooooo. Our loss is your gain!

Jumbo dozens normally $7 will be only $4 a dozen today and tomorrow, no limit!!!! Yes that’s correct, ONLY $4 a dozen!!!

Small cases 180 eggs normally are $40 now only $30! With the high cost of inflation and rising costs of eggs, these are FANTASTIC prices for local pasture eggs.
