Our Myra!!
Where do we begin? She brought with her some experience and such eagerness to learn, a deep passion for livestock, a whole lot of patience with the many challenges, and tenacity to see us through to the very end. She especially looked like the energizer bunny these last 4 days, taking out the saltwater system and the last of the freshwater like a boss. The teamwork with her hubby Eric who also stepped in to help us out was epic and such a blessing.
I (Joanette) for one, appreciated having a teammate in girl power 🤜🤛 for a couple years after 5 years solo in a man's world😁.
We are so excited for you moving on to expand on your work in the school district, where you are part of changing lives for the better.
You have also now locked the door for your last time, and we too thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being everything you are and were to us, partnering to get to this point.
Godspeed sweet friend...we look forward to continuing to share cat shenanigan stories and our 🤤 a little thinking about some future shared sous vide meals and your special hot cocoa!

Our Collin!!
He first walked through our doors an eager teenager wanting to learn and grow in his hobby. Close to graduating, he inquired about a job and while we weren't hiring at that moment, I told him we just might be soon. We knew Tony was prepping for retirement.😉
His resume went right on the top of the pile. As a customer, we kept our eye on him and just a few months down the road, the time was right and he felt right (Tony gave👍🏻) and 2+ years ago, we offered him a job.
He quickly proved himself on all levels and it seems like within a blink of the eye he built rapport with anyone he met and achieved his personal challenge (Tony 2.0...if you know, you know) of running the store by himself...many a time. Truly a remarkable young man, that we will miss doing the daily grind with. However, he has become family and we look forward to enjoying time together NOT WORKING!!🥳

You've locked the door for your last time, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being everything you are and were to us, partnering to get to this point.
Godspeed son...your future is so bright, we'll be 😎 in your presence LOL

He has been a friend of 29 years and some of you may remember him as an employee for a short time at our Nipomo location. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, as we honor the life of a man who touched many lives for the better!!!

This WOULD affect us ALL by immediately, considering ALL of the Wet Pets we love, to be considered "Blacklisted" and in effect close down all of our stores. Even though you do not see a picture of fish, coral, inverts, etc, make no mistake, they ARE included in this legislation. Each of the animals we have would need to be researched in depth and considered to NOT be injurious and then allowed to be "Whitelisted" and again legal to import, transport and sell. That takes time, money and people who care enough to do it.
