#Repost for a client... please consider helping if you can.. any amount helps. Max was found wandering the streets of South Los Angeles on Friday afternoon. I could immediately tell he was hurt and needed some care...I just couldn't leave him there . I took him to Westside Pet Clinic in Santa Monica where my vet diagnosed him with a severe dislocated hip and a few other problems. Probably a victim of animal abuse. The vet has agreed to do the surgery this week with me making payments. He is home resting right now on pain medication. I had to have blood work done on him to make sure he could handle the surgery and see what other problems he might have. He had to have fluids, x-rays, flea medication, pain medication, and now a surgery. He is extremely under weight and needs a special diet to help him gain weight. Obviously I left the vet sad and discouraged. He is such a sweetheart...I can't imagine the pain and suffering he is going through. At this time, I already have three dogs and really can't afford the extra expenses so I am asking for any help you feel you can give our little friend.
