My mother was a teacher before she became a real estate agent. I started coaching at 12 years old. I can go on, point is, I was made for passing on information.
In 2009, I was a real estate agent. I got my license in 2005. I worked for my mother. We had loan agents at our meetings, pushing the bad loans that caused the housing market to collapse. My mother refused to let her clients get these loans. Her reason is why I can say, we are the only two agents I know of, that didn't have a single client lose their home to a bad loan.
"Mijo, those loans aren't good for the client."
I understand when someone says they have something new, eyes start to roll. Consider two things. 1. Every client has said lesson one, "it makes sense"
2. Every client also, "I have never heard anything like this before"
We did eventually have the market collapse and I needed an income stream. In 2009, while I was a real estate agent, I would work at a coffee house with my dog. It was there I got drawn into the dog training world. I would be working and people would comment on how well behaved, my husky Coda, was just laying there.
I had to develop a training program, was my thought, when enough people asked if I was a trainer and wanted help. I did the most natural thing, I reverse engineered what I was doing with my dog. What I discovered is, I am speaking the dog's language. On the topic of conversation the dog wants first.
I teach their language with amazing results.
I will be in the South Lake Tahoe/Reno area August 1-6.
Eugene/Florence August 8-11.
Then back home in Ventura County
