We breed for exceptional temperament and health, maintaining the highest possible standards with clearances for hips, elbows, eyes and heart, along with full genetic testing to ensure we don't breed puppies that are affected with any of the genetic diseases common in Gol

den Retrievers. Huckaby's English Golden Retriever puppies are raised in-home and under-foot from day one. We begin Early Neurological Stimulation at three days old, utilizing the Puppy Culture enrichment program. We focus on early socialization and problem prevention, raising our puppies to be calm enrichment seekers, ready to take on life's challenges with love and joy to spare.

This one deserves a permanent spot on my page. Sorry not sorry for the baby talk. If you’ve ever interacted with a 2.5 week old Golden Retriever puppy, you already know… it’s absolutely impossible not to fall head over heels in love and turn into a big pile of mush! 🐾🌱🤍

Huck’s health has started to decline over the past couple of months, and we strongly suspect the cancer we had removed last year has returned. He’s given us 12.5 years of unconditional love, loyalty, and joy. We don’t know exactly what the future holds, but what I do know is that we will honor him in every way possible and make sure whatever time we have left is filled with the things he loves most. The thought of saying goodbye already breaks my heart. Some days, just looking at him brings on a wave of anticipatory grief so heavy it takes my breath away. But I’m here for it… because this pain is part of the deal we make when we love our four-legged babies so deeply. No matter how much it hurts, I would do it all again a hundred times over. I wouldn’t trade a single moment with him, or the love he’s brought into our lives, for anything in this world.

Three weeks old already! 🐾🌱 Our early socialization protocol is underway, helping these little ones grow into confident, well-adjusted pups. Remember, if you choose to get a puppy from a breeder, prioritize health, temperament, and early socialization above all else!
