Peggy had her final training session with me this week. She has learned to make better choices for herself. Her owner has committed to making sure Peggy is secure on “place”, where she can chill while her mom works from home. That is one of the basic foundations to lead a balanced dog through its life.

Meet two new faces joining us at the farm—-Nelson and Koda!
Nelson is a small guy with a big bark!! I am working with him through a board and train to help him with his timidness toward people. When someone reaches toward him to show affection, he runs away. Koda is the biggest pup I’ve worked with. She is a -mix with a big heart ❤️🐶. But her owners say she is highly anxious and displays that through various outlets. She weighs in at 160 pounds, but is a kind, gentle soul. Welcome to the pack, kids! We look forward to improving your behaviors with love and guidance!

Archie had some knee issues and his mom opted for over surgery. And it helped strengthen his knee, eliminating his limp!

Roxy and her four siblings helped her celebrate her 6th birthday on . She loves her brothers and sisters even though she can be a bit grumpy with them sometimes! It might be because she is spoiled! 🐶❤️🎂.

Now and when Rayne first started swimming years ago. She used to hate it and lacked confidence. Her mom has stuck with it off and on for 10 years . Her sister, Red, swam as well until she passed earlier this year. Rayne is a pro now!

Today at the farm, we practiced calm. We recently added a few chickens to our farm so we could have some farm fresh eggs to our table! This was something we knew would cause excitement from the dogs. But other than a and a , the dogs didn’t really pay any attention. Good pups!

Our time at the farm is not just about running and chasing…the pups have rules and boundaries as well and they are challenged with tasks such as climbing the steps or the a-frame!

New friends were made this week at the . Most dogs are regular attendees weekly. Not only do they get in a lot of running, but they learn rules, boundaries and limitations.

Went to check in with Rocky’s family to see how he is doing after he went home Friday. He is doing good on walks, but still is reactive when he sees other dogs. I encouraged them to continue with circle work—The Jentle Leader Method—and they will see their results! He is good at “Place” work and sees that as a job. It’s a good way to calm the brain!

This sweet girl has been found after wondering in and a Good Samaritan rescued her and had her vet checked and spayed. She is called Mia and if you will adopt her—at 2 years old—. You will get a large bag of dog food and a complimentary training session. She is sweet and potty trained and is excited to see other pups!
