Waymore Whispers in the Dark, Kai, started training with Hillary Merrill at Rayo Ranch 14 days ago. First horse/pony I’ve ever sent out for training it was extremely hard to let the reins go. Very happy our paths crossed with Hillary she has done a wonderful job with him. He is relaxed and happy.

Kai, Waymore Whispers in the Dark, is finally off to school! He is doing fantastic. Dani was the first to be in the saddle thanks to Mustang Matt. Wish I bred a few more of these.....and how did Dani come up with the perfect name months before he was born. His dam is gray, sire is a chestnut sabino.

Update on Olive

Update: Blood test results are back August her insulin levels were at 177. October 122. They should be below 40. Good news is she feels good. She is walking sound. Bad news is the meds she needs to further reduce this number is $800 per month 😞 vs the $150 per month I am currently spending. I can’t pull that rabbit out of a hat 😞.

We’re on our way home from UC Davis. The vets and vet students that saw her August 7 were amazed at her recovery. Between the diabetes meds and the Magna Wave treatments she somehow recovered. They wanted more information about the Magna Wave PEMF therapy. Waiting for the blood test results

Olive update

This is the dramatic difference in Olives hooves. Red inflamed in July. After 4 Magna Wave treatments it’s gone! This therapy saved her life. Olive was on Metformin for her diabetes however her condition was not improving physically. She was tied up, unable to walk and giving up. After two treatments she was a different pony full of life. She has had four treatments to date and the ability to be ponied on the beach. She walks around all day and is back to being noisy pushy Olive.

Olive went to the beach yesterday! To all those that suggested I put her down....my Uncle Jack Green the Racing Hall of Famer & #2 Racehorse trainer in Australia taught me they’ll let you know when it’s time, until than don’t give up. He had a genius of making champions out of crocks. One of the greatest race horses of all time would never had been produced had he listened to others and put the horse down. My years of tagging along before daylight down to his stables to take care of the race horses gave me a wealth of knowledge and equine intuition.

Olive had her 4th Magna Wave treatment today. This video is before the 4th treatment. I anticipate a positive recovery. Thank you Darlene Gabby Tannlund (trailering buddy and always being there for us; advice ,encouragement & brain storming), Jane Creagh (Magna Wave PEMF), Mark Hibbs (ranch farrier), Dani Thomson (financier when funds are low & being available to help), the vet at UC Davis Dr Lauren Skipper, the UCD farrier Shane Westman, Dr Katie Prince (local vet) Dr Prince suggested the Magna Wave Therapy which I believe was the key to the recovery. David Thomson for clean up, feeding, midnight checks and bed fluffing. Olive was not making progress on medication and diet. When we added the Magna Wave therapy she found relief and the road to recovery! We’ve gone from it may be time to put her down to holy $h!t she’s greatly improved! It’s taken a village THANK YOU ALL for your contributions!!!!!

Olive after Magna Wave treatment #3 on 9/19/19 she is moving around move than she has in months. With each treatment she shows improvement and maintains relief. She is a week over due on her feet trim which is really bad for her as the angles of her feet are critical to her recovery and ability to walk. And yes I know bed deep...

Update: today was Olive’s 3rd Magna Wave treatment. She has been walking around going outside being Olive searching for every little piece of hay. I’m over joyed to see her body relaxed and she’s walking and standing with her feet under her. I’m sold on this therapy! Thank You Jane Creagh.

An update on Olive. She is totally enjoying her Magna Wave therapy. She was treated last Thursday. This is a video from this morning.

Olive has a very large stall 24x30 with openings on all four sides to see us and her equine friends. She sleeps in one area at night. Spends her day in another area. She has an eating area and a potty area. Olive has always been a very neat and clean pony however when her feet were killing her the entire stall was a potty area. Now that her feet are feeling better she has started to use the potty area again! She is also going out in her paddock occasionally.

The Magna Wave therapist will be out again this week. If anyone wants to set up an appointment let me know.

Olive had her Magna Wave therapy today by Jane Creagh. Olive loved it! Sorry the video is not great. I left after her session and returned to discover Olive had walked out in her paddock to visit the other ponies!!!!!! She walked to watch me get her feed together. She was obviously more comfortable. She hasn’t left her stall in weeks.

Jane Creagh was wonderful with Olive. She even treated Dani, my daughter, knee.

I have a Magna Wave PEMF therapist coming to work on Olive sometime in the next few days. She will be returning to do follow ups on Olive if anyone in Sonoma County wants an appointment please let me know. She is a horse person that used to breed Lusitano’s. She works on people, dogs, and horses. My schedule is flexible so I haven’t set an exact date. If anyone is interested please let me know. Her name is Jane Creagh. Waymore Whimsical aka Olive isn’t feeling very whimsical these days 😞 Type 2 Diabetes, Thyroid issues causing laminitis. Not sure how much more she can take. If she is willing to get up and walk I am willing to keep up the fight! She will let me know when it’s to much for her.
