Momma Sake is 2 years 10 months-old and sponsored by Rick Maifeld. SNAP Cats rescued Momma Sake from Victorville, CA. Momma Sake is the sweetest kitty! She gets along great with the others in our FeLV+ Habitat, uses the box 100% of the time, and loves human attention. Honestly, she's the perfect cat!

Since Momma Sake is FeLV+ she’ll need to be with other FeLV+ cats or be an only cat.

Sasha’s 1 year-old and sponsored by Robin Texeira. SNAP Cats rescued Sasha from Solano County, CA. Sasha’s a very sweet, gentle kitten. She loves attention and being held (for a while, then not so much). Sasha’s going to be on the petite side when full-grown, but there’s still a lot of her to love. Sasha gets along great with the other kitties and uses the box 100% of the time.

WHITE CAT WEDNESDAY!

Coconut (a.k.a. Kookie Nut) is 5 years 2 months-old and sponsored by Stephanie Upton. SNAP Cats rescued Coconut from Bakersfield, CA, where he was going to be euthanized for being FIV+. Yes, that still happens today! Which is SO sad because Coconut is such a sweet, super friendly (kookie) cat that loves human attention. He’s the first kitty to greet you when you enter the room. Coconut can be combative with other cats, especially when there's wet food involved, but mellows a bit once he gets to know them. Coconut would be best as an only cat, but would probably be fine with an older cat that keeps to themselves. (And we learned the other day that he's a great mouser! One managed to get in here and Coconut didn't waste any time grabbing it.) That said, Coconut still needs to be an indoor-only cat.

BTW: Please don't be afraid of FIV. It's nothing. Really. Slightly compromised immune system. That's it. Just like a FIV- cat, Coconut will live a long, healthy life if you take good care of him.

BLACK CAT FRIDAY!

Ozzy is 1 year-old and sponsored by Wyeth Hunnable. SNAP Cats rescued Ozzy from San Jose, CA. Ozzy is the typical playful kitten. He loves to run and play with others, and LOVES the spring toy! Oh, and wet food. He LOVES the wet food! Despite his sunken eyes, Ozzy does see a little bit, which helps him navigate his environment.

Ozzy needs another kitten about his age to play with and continue to learn social skills from. And it just so happens that we have a few kittens who love to play with Ozzy.

Meet Arielle. She’s 1 year 1 month-old and needs a sponsor! SNAP Cats rescued Arielle from Indianapolis, Indiana. Arielle was rescued from a backyard breeder in Indianapolis. She was born with severe hind leg challenges . Arielle’s missing her hip sockets, has spinal deformation, has no knee or ankle joints, and has some subluxation on top of that.

Despite all of this, Arielle is a lovable kitten who enjoys being pet and giving kisses and still tries her best to play. She is ambulatory - does best on carpet - and is able to use a litter box on her own. Here’s a video of her before we received her - https://youtube.com/shorts/IY-GAhup654. Arielle is great with other cats, uses the litter box 100% of the time (needs a butt cleaning every once in a while), and will fit into any household who wants a sweet Persian.

Ozzy II (because we already had an Ozzy) is 3 years 4 months-old and sponsored by Mayra Sanchez. SNAP Cats rescued Ozzy II from Doha, Qatar. Ozzy II is an absolute LOVE BUG! He can never get enough attention or pets. Ozzy II is great with other cats as long as they don’t get in his face. His left eye has been enucleated and should not cause any problems for the rest of his life. Ozzy II will fit into any household either as an only cat or as an addition to your cat family.

Pepper is 1 year 6 months-old and sponsored by Vendetta Yenter. SNAP Cats rescued Pepper from Madera, CA. Pepper is a spicy girl! She has lots of energy and loves to play play play! She also likes to eat eat eat (wet food). Pepper’s ataxia is moderate+, but she gets around just fine. Pepper would benefit from being with another cat about her age although she does well at entertaining herself to burn-off all of that energy.

He would do best with another kitten/cat about his age (like Ozzy!) to run and tumble with, but Wolfie's old enough to be an only cat. Wolfie Loves attention and his wet food. He’ll cry at your feet until you feed him his wet food treat. Wolfie gets along great with the others here, uses the litter box 100% of the time, and will make a wonderful addition to your family!

Cali is 5 months 2 weeks-old and needs a sponsor! SNAP Cats rescued Cali from Orange County. ACTUALLY, we rescued her mom from Orange County where she and two other females were being abused. Little did we know that Cali’s mom was, well, pregnant, and a week later out popped 5 kittens! Two of the five (Brittany and Dora) have been adopted, which leaves Cali (and Pumpkin and Zoe, who we featured last week). Cali is a little shy at first, but once she gets to know you (or you have her favorite wand toy) she warms up very quickly. Cali is very playful, loves her wet food, and gets along great with other kitties. It would be wonderful if Cali, Pumpkin and Zoe were all adopted together, but Cali isn’t bonded to her siblings so she can go to a home with another kitten about her age.

SNAP Cats is a unique rescue and sanctuary in Santa Rosa, CA (Sonoma County) dedicated to special needs cats. We rescue special needs cats from all around the world, house them, then find them warm, loving homes. We believe, if given time, that ALL cats can find the home that they deserve.

All of our SNAP Cats, regardless of health, age or temperament, are available for adoption or foster care. Those who are not adopted, due to age, illness or temperament, are able to live out the remainder of their natural lives here, in a peaceful, healthy, serene environment.
