A few years ago I never thought I’d be starting c**ts in just two to three days like this. It’s quite amazing what you can get done.

Gosh I learned so much this weekend. I got stuck in my head for a bit which set me back but I over came eveything. It’s amazing what you can get done in only TWO DAYS! I’m so dang proud of my filly and I for getting through the final round! The horse truly is the greatest teacher. Can’t thank everyone enough for all their help and support and a special shoutout to Christoph Paul, Cliff Schadt, Dan Moltion, and Laramie Clark 🤎

I was pretty impressed with how our first round went. She tried to jump out of the round pen a few times and was very frazzled. My goal was to make her feel secure with me. I was able to get on quick and ended with a calm and content horse 🤎 thank you CJ for getting videos

I had been meaning to post an update on Cali! This is when she had about 12 rides under saddle. Such a cool mustang. I really like to take my time with each horse I start as there’s no need to be in a rush

This lady is making the treck from CALIFORNIA to compete in our c**t starting competition, June 1-2! How incredible is that?! Here's a little about Andrea 👇

"Raised on the Central Coast of California, Andrea grew up always having a passion for horses. Although she did not grow up in this industry, her good friend Windy Leonard introduced her to the cowhorse world and training. She then worked for her first cowhorse trainer who taught her a lot about training and the business side of things. Later on she decided to pursue her bachelors degree in Animal Science at California Polytechnic University. She was on the Equestrian Team, and Mule Packing Team. Andrea then transferred to Feather River College to complete her BA in Equine and Ranch Management. While in school, she learned the art of c**t starting and developed her horsemanship further by expanding into training performance horses. After graduation, Andrea worked with more trainers, honing her skills and abilities and developing her own style of training. She now runs a full time training business where she strives to give each horse she trains a fair and honest education to mentally and physically prepare them for their future careers. As a c**t starting champion, Andreas goal is to set an example and help other people in this industry that aspire to start young horses under saddle."

Thought it would be fun to do an update since I posted his first ride. I sometimes get different breeds in training and it’s cool to work with somethinng different **tstarting
