Aiko hates phones/cameras and photos of her to be taken but got a few photos and video of some of her in her morning routine this morning. She has already eaten most of her breakfast at this point and is just enjoying the nice 70’s weather before it warms up to the 90’s weather in an hour or so . Videos in next couple of posts. It’s she a beautiful Japaneseacaque (Aka Snow Monkey)

Happy 4th of July! Aiko got a new toy, had some hamburger,a potato chip, and veggies along with her regular diet. Oh and a few pieces of popcorn. She enjoyed watching the family BBQ, music and all the extra attention. And she saw fireworks safely far enough away to not have loud noises but could see the fireworks in the sky out on by our city.
I will add some pics of Aiko tomorrow if she cooperates (hates phone and cameras).
It was so hot today by time I was done getting everything ready for the BBQ, we had lots of misters and misting fans on already due to heat in the 90’s here, so it was hard to see her through them.

Happy 16th Birthday to our Aiko (Japanese Macaque)! She got a new toy and is having some carrot cake this afternoon. She also had some other special fruit and veggie treats which she ate early this morning with her breakfast.
This afternoon she will celebrate with some special carrot cake. Love you Aiko🐵🐵🎂🎉(

Daisy Mae is supervising Bill while Bill is putting together the new misting fan for Aiko. (Aiko also has misters around her enclosure-this will just add more mist and cool air for her) Aiko is looking in from her enclosure on the shelf for extra added supervision but she is camera shy and hard to see in the pics).

Aiko and staff thank everyone for a wonderful 2023. As we ring in the New Year we are extremely thankful to continue to have Aiko in our lives. She adds so much joy
and happiness. We are truly blessed.
