I've spent the last few weeks getting this big, sweet boy, ,Enzo (formerly Beau from the ) comfortable in our home. He was living the stray pup life on the mean streets of Potsdam, spent about 6 months at the shelter and now is living his doggo dream here in the ADK's. It's been quite a year and a hell of a summer, but me and Enzo are holding our heads and tails high!

Twelve years was not enough my tiny guy, but oh did we spend them well together! One Memorial Day weekend I got my first tattoo and the tiniest of Littles. You never knew you were a small dog, you kept the kitties in line, you roo roo rooed with joy and never turned down a snack or a snuggle. You called four states home and enjoyed everything from the beach to the mountains giving the local squirrels a challenge wherever we landed! How am I supposed to walk around without you clipping at my heels and licking my calves!? My sweetest little bug, my heart is shattered without you, but what luck I had for you to spend your life in our family.

My sweet Hammy Bear, my what joy we had in our brief time together. Your gentle nature, thumping tail, love of chasing squirrels, kindness to cats, readiness to go and see the world and so much more brought laughter and happiness to our family. If love could have saved you our hello and goodbye would have been so much further apart.Three months was not even close to enough time! I hope that while with us you knew an abundance of love and adventure, but mostly I hope you knew you had found your forever family. You have left a big Hammy size hole in my heart.

Kitchen reno phase 1 complete! And yes, the inside of the stove really is blue!! I've got a couple more kitchen updates to tackle while waiting for the island to be delivered. did a great job on the countertop!
