Broke the 70% barrier with Daniela Drillmans beautiful Giovanni in the Open 4th level class over the weekend. This guy is so much fun to ride and is really starting to trust me in the ring after only a short time together 🖤 Shoutout toJaclyn Wisee for keeping him feeling his best with her Magnawave services. Pamela Bargdilll for her braiding skills. Last but not least the best horse show husband Stevan Villar.

Wrapped up our first weekend of competition of 2025! I got to ride to my 4th level musical freestyle for the first time with Moe & finished 🥈 with lots of room for improvement.
I also had the privilege of showing Daniela Drillmans Giovanni who has been working through some tension as a competition horse. Gio managed to improve his initial score by 8% under some tough judges in the 3rd level open classes finished 🥇 Shoutout to Michelle Rozzano Gerlach for being the voice in my head this weekend and Jackie Wise for her magnawave services and help getting horses ready back at the barn.
Thanks to Pamela Bargdill for braiding and making the horses look their best.
Teamwork really does make the dream work 🥂

After a summer/ fall season of hurricanes and setbacks I was able to get back in the show ring this weekend with two talented but very different horses. My 🦄 was 🥇 in both of his 4-3 tests receiving two qualifying scores towards regionals in 2025 and we are also qualified to start showing our freestyle choreographed by Melanie Michalak. I also had the pleasure of showing Daniela Drillmans Giovanni a beautiful black gelding. After only a short time together he is really starting to find his strength and confidence after changing owners multiple times and having some time off from the show ring. He finished 🥇 in both of his 3rd level classes. My client Robin Sego competed Firefly gaining more miles in the Training Level Test 3 with scores up to 66% and also got their feet wet at 1st level and several 🥇 place finishes. Shout out to Michelle Rozzano Gerlach for her support and eyes on the ground. Jackie Wise for her Magnawave services and Pamela Bargdill for braiding. I couldn’t do any of this without my amazing partner Stevan Villar who is my biggest cheerleader! Congrats on finishing 🥈 in the open Training level Test 3 with baby Dior. Another fun and productive weekend surrounded by great people 🥂

After days of preparation all horses are locked up tight in conctrete barns with storm shutters up. Shout out to Debra Collins and the barn staff in Englewood for all their hard work and riding out the storm with the horses to make adjustments as needed. Huge thanks my client Rachel Freeman for letting me use her beautiful brand new barn as overflow. Stevan Villar and myself are also locked up tight in our house in Sarasota. Luckily we are not currently in an evacuation or flood zone. Stay safe everyone 🥂

We had a productive weekend competing at the SDCTA Summer Sunburn Classic 🥵

Jane Schnackenberg Mandula and her horse Copper had two nice rides in the 2-1 test finishing 🥈 and earning a score towards her Bronze medal.

My 🦄 Finished 🥇in the 4-3 and always shows up for me even when I’m not performing at my best.

Stevan Villar and Dior had two clean tests in the Training Level Test 1 finishing 🥇with a 67%
