He has ridden many horses in various disciplines and has won over thirty USEF Regional, National and World Championships on both the Friesian and Andalusian show circuits. In 2009 his Friesian Sport Horse mare Ivy’s Nova was the USEF National Grand Champion Horse of the Year. That same year, Ryan was nominated by the International Friesian Show Horse Association for the USEF Youth Sportsman’s Awa
rd. This award recognizes potential future leaders in the equine industry and their equestrian achievements. In 2010, Ryan began training his nine year old Friesian stallion Novi of Legend Woods focusing strictly on dressage. In 2013, Ryan and Novi traveled to Florida and spent the winter show season training and showing in Wellington. While there they earned qualifying scores towards his USDF Bronze Medal. In the spring of 2013, Ryan moved back to Wisconsin and successfully competed through 3rd level. In 2012-2013, Ryan and Novi won multiple USDF National All Breed Awards including Champion at Training and First level, and Champion at First and Second level Musical Freestyle. Currently showing 4th level and schooling Prix St. George, Ryan is working towards his last scores for his Silver Medal and Bronze Freestyle Bar. Ryan decided to become a professional and began teaching and training other horses and riders. He believes in the importance of creating a mutual bond of trust and respect with his clients and the horses they ride. Ryan understands each horse and rider combination is unique and provides an individualized training program designed to advance both horse and rider towards their goals. Services:
