After a summer/ fall season of hurricanes and setbacks I was able to get back in the show ring this weekend with two talented but very different horses. My 🦄 was 🥇 in both of his 4-3 tests receiving two qualifying scores towards regionals in 2025 and we are also qualified to start showing our freestyle choreographed by Melanie Michalak. I also had the pleasure of showing Daniela Drillmans Giovanni a beautiful black gelding. After only a short time together he is really starting to find his strength and confidence after changing owners multiple times and having some time off from the show ring. He finished 🥇 in both of his 3rd level classes. My client Robin Sego competed Firefly gaining more miles in the Training Level Test 3 with scores up to 66% and also got their feet wet at 1st level and several 🥇 place finishes. Shout out to Michelle Rozzano Gerlach for her support and eyes on the ground. Jackie Wise for her Magnawave services and Pamela Bargdill for braiding. I couldn’t do any of this without my amazing partner Stevan Villar who is my biggest cheerleader! Congrats on finishing 🥈 in the open Training level Test 3 with baby Dior. Another fun and productive weekend surrounded by great people 🥂

After days of preparation all horses are locked up tight in conctrete barns with storm shutters up. Shout out to Debra Collins and the barn staff in Englewood for all their hard work and riding out the storm with the horses to make adjustments as needed. Huge thanks my client Rachel Freeman for letting me use her beautiful brand new barn as overflow. Stevan Villar and myself are also locked up tight in our house in Sarasota. Luckily we are not currently in an evacuation or flood zone. Stay safe everyone 🥂

We had a productive weekend competing at the SDCTA Summer Sunburn Classic 🥵

Jane Schnackenberg Mandula and her horse Copper had two nice rides in the 2-1 test finishing 🥈 and earning a score towards her Bronze medal.

My 🦄 Finished 🥇in the 4-3 and always shows up for me even when I’m not performing at my best.

Stevan Villar and Dior had two clean tests in the Training Level Test 1 finishing 🥇with a 67%

Shout out to Michelle Rozzano Gerlach for coaching Friday and Saturday.

Some photos from a hot but productive weekend of competition! My Spanish unicorn earned 2 qualifying scores for Regionals in the open 4-3 winning the class on Sunday. Jane Schnackenberg Mandula and Copper finished off the weekend with their best ride & winning the 2-1 AA with room for improvement. Stevan Villar and Dior made their rated show debut winning the open Training level Test 1 with 66.7% . Shoutout to our friend and Mentor Michelle Rozzano Gerlach not only her expert eyes and coaching this weekend but for earning a 68% in the open I-1 with Forbes. Special thanks to Cheryl Quinn for helping our horses feel their best with Magnawave and Pamela Bargdill for braiding. I also had a great time getting to know Katie McClain DePriest and her lovely client Andrea Bivens this weekend. Teamwork makes the Dreamwork 🥂

Another productive weekend weekend of competition for RSD riders Jane Schnackenberg Mandula and Robin Sego! Jane and Copper went down centerline at 2nd level and improved their scores each day. Robin and Boris recieved qualifying score’s for regionals at 1st and 2nd level and earned scores towards her USDF bronze medal and winning all 3 of her classes. Always great catching up with Kassie Kuz in addition to making some new friends.

We had a visit from Kate Ballard & Sue Carson yesterday to fit a new saddle for RSD rider Jane Schnackenberg Mandula and her new horse Sunny. This is a new model for the Uk based Sue Carson Saddles and we are excited to have the first one in the United States. Kate & Daniel Humphrey-Laughton did a great job doing the initial fitting using pressure mapping and 3 dimensional imaging of the the horses back. Fast forward a month and we had Sue over from Europe to do the final fitting. Super impressed with how precise and close contact these saddles are both horse and riders balance was improved during the process. They also have a variety of customizable options is you’re looking for a little Razzle Dazzle ✨

Fun and charismatic 16.2hh American warmblood gelding born in 2018 by Le Santo. Luca has 3 lovely gaits and a great work ethic and would be suitable for a variety of riders. He was started as a hunter prospect but his owner decided that he would be better suited as a dressage prospect. Luca schools 1st/2nd level and does a green lead change. He is very sensible and likes to hack out on the trails in addition to his daily routine.

2013 17.2 hand KWPN DHH gelding…
Cento is a gorgeous liver chestnut with lots of chrome. He is a favorite in the barn due to his puppy dog personality. Cento got a late start to his riding career only because he was imported as a driving horse but he is much happier being a riding horse. With 3 amazing gaits and a very trainable AA friendly demeanor he would make a safe and interesting prospect for a variety of riders. Currently schooling 1st level and progresing quickly after only being in a program for a few weeks and he loves to trail ride too.
