Mana’s Moving Speech

Things happen for a reason…. Good and bad for that matter! When I set out in October 2023 little did I know that I was coming up with a brand that would catch the eyes of people that could really make it happen. Little did I know it would take me to other places in the K9 world and beyond! I set out to create a brand that blended the bond of man woman & k9. Over the years and generations this bond has grown between man and k9! To the extent now that they are almost inseparable anywhere you go. Planes, trains & automobiles, to hotels, hikes hunts even movie theaters k9’s are around! Then the pandemic hit and this went into full throttle! Adoption agencies were out of dogs! Of course when people went back to work they got rid of their k9’s and that is awful! As I watched this phenomenon grow I thought to myself “ why not build a brand that combines k9 & man alike! They can eat at the same place, DRINK at the same place ( that’s right) , even shop at the same place! Make that bond a store, a brand, a calling to k9 lovers all over the world…. Well I did and it caught the eye of some pretty interesting people! They gave me an offer I could not refuse ! After months of thought I am relocating and turning this into a nationwide brand! Unfortunately it will be doormat for a little while but we will work hard to stay relevant! In the year to come before our new launch! I want to thank co-founder of Under Armor & Founder of Big Truck Farms Brewery among other things. I took his course last year and it hit me hard in a great way! It energized me and stimulated my working brain to the point I would look at a clock and 20 hrs would have gone by! I recently spoke with him by email and sent him my biz plan… Well I sent the wrong email and he replied “ this is nothing” Feeling like a mormon I actually started to look at my real plan and said… There is a lot to do here before I even send it! Well 8 months later Im revising again and Kip it will be on the way! To everyone reading please wish me luck this will take me at my best to pull it off but I cannot believe its happening

Listen up humans … I will be closed at Mana’s K9 Nutrition Market today ! Fortunately we were very busy yesterday but our new kennels showed up for grooming ! They are
larger safer and more comfortable for dogs over 200lbs down to 3lb dogs and cats. All separated with water bowls and a new AC vent in the ceiling ! This is all being installed today by my dad !! We will reopen Friday the 19th at 9am with morning grooming open at this time!!!!

Huge shout out to for showing up to the Grand Opening of Mana’s Market back in November! They are striving to do some amazing things in the underworld of human trafficking. That hits me pretty hard …. Im personally disgusted with what goes on and they have Mana’s full support!This is actually Scott with Valor and K9 Mana himself… Mana had never been on a suit before 😆

This or that?
In the world we are living in, we are constantly flushed with information on what is the best for our pets. Some people have and will continue to say hard kibble is king and provides our pets with the required amount of nutrition. They have gone on to say you don’t need to see the freshness to have optimal nutrition and these tiny over broiled pieces of rendered meats will be the best option for your pet.
Why?
We look back to where it started. Before the commercial dog food, pets were fed mostly table scraps then James Spratt created a diet of wheat, beets and beef blood, then horse meat in biscuit form. In the 1930s the depression caused people to look for cheaper fillers to add to the food when they started adding grains and cereal to reduce price, dehydrated in a can for shelf stability. In the next 20 years the industry picks up and some companies found out the pet food companies would pay for the waste of old grains and meat scraps to use in the food.
In 1956 Purina created the first kibble by heating and liquifying these ingredients to kill off bacteria then baking them into the pieces we see today.
Now we have the means and knowledge to provide our pets with the best super foods for their body we can. Since these times cancer in our domesticated animals has been on a steady rise but not in our wildlife as much.
Why? Food? Medicines?
All we can do is provide the best we can for our pets and keep their bodies as clean as possible. Little 12 week old Shep/Poodle cross Cody came in and stole our hearts today! So happy to meet you little man, and so excited to watch you grow up healthy and enriched! A tug and were a necessity in our puppy bag today to keep this baby happy and busy ❤️🐾
