Once crammed in a cluttered room with dozens of others, Starsky and Hutch only had each other, a pair of scrappy survivors in a sea of chaos. Now safe and free, they curl up together in the sunshine, chasing shadows and sharing every nap like the brothers they chose to be. From hoarded to homebound, their bond will never break.

At 8-years-old, Kimchi is the perfect mix of playful, kind, and spontaneous. Raised in a loving home since kittenhood, he’s well-mannered and well-socialized—comfortable with kids, cats, and even dogs!

Now, through no fault of his own, he’s looking for a new lap to curl up in and a forever friend to share his golden years with.

Help us celebrate Cat Depot's 22nd Anniversary by entering the Cat Depot Art Contest, a fun way to express creativity and share the importance of being kind to animals.

🖌 Create an art piece in any medium that shows why animals matter, whether it’s the joy pets bring, the ways service animals help people, or an incredible story about an animal who’s done something amazing.

📅 Submissions & voting run from August 25 – September 28! Each vote is a $1 donation that supports Cat Depot’s lifesaving work.

Meet Solo & Sassy 🐾🖤

Solo and Sassy are positive for feline leukemia. Feline leukemia (FeLV+) is a virus that is contagious among other cats. It causes a weakened immune system which can leave its victims susceptible to other illnesses and a shorter life span if they don’t receive protection and care.

Though, FeLV-positive cats can live very happy lives, adopters should know that Solo and Susie should be taken to a veterinarian as soon as possible if a problem is noticed. We recommend that their adopter schedules wellness visits with their veterinarian regularly.

A little love goes a long way. FeLV+ cats who are kept indoors, receive consistent medical care, and eat nutritious diets will live long, fulfilling lives. Humans and other animals cannot contract feline leukemia.

Ideal owners of cats with feline leukemia live in a home without any other cats (dogs and other pets are purrfectly okay!). Additionally, FeLV+ kitties can also be housed with other FeLV+ ones.

As a rescue and education center, we will happily take you through the stages of FeLV and how to ensure healthy living.
