We are a Non Funded/Non Subsidized 501(c)3, NO KILL, Animal Rescue. We focus on Saving Death Row, Abused, Discarded, Neglected and Medically Needy Canines. We would like to STRESS the IMPORTANCE of Spaying and Neutering ALL Pets. The Pet Over Population has gotten SO FAR OUT OF HAND that Millions are put to sleep every year because of Human GREED and Lack of Compassion.

🐝 POINSETTIAS - don't forget we have our annual fundraiser still going on - $10 each, red and white - TONS left, please help!! All proceeds go to support the dogs in our care... this year has been very slow on poinsettia sales unfortunately. We are set up from 12pm-6pm daily across from Robards Arena on Fruitville rd!

👉🏻TOMORROW Saturday 12/21 we will be at The Bazaar on Lime! Come see us from 10-2 and our cute adoptable dogs!

❤ Jenny is on a foster-to-adopt adventure over the next few weeks to see how well she can get along with her potential new siblings, good luck pretty girl!

🐾 Mama Bella (Aussie) is searching for her forever home - she loves everyone she meets and LOVES playing ball!

😘 Tukker boy is still doing well in his new home and we are sending him all the Christmas love!!

❤KOBE - (M) Husky/Shep Mix - 4.5 months old - gets along with everyone he meets, will be a big boy (70+lbs) needs to live with another dog
❤ LEONA - (F) 2 yrs, golden retriever/rottweiler mix. She loves to be with her people and would benefit from someone home a lot or other dogs to keep her company
❤PRINCESS (F) 3-1/2 yrs old, chi/min pin mix (maybe) - super sweet girl, loves to be around her people and gets along with other dogs. Must be kept on prescription CD food. She has had surgery for bladder stones (Cystotomy).
❤MYLO - (M) 3 yr. JRT mix - this guy just wants a family to play with! He is not a couch potato kinda guy and is searching for adventure! JRT Experience a PLUSSSS
❤ZANE - (M) 5 yr. bulldog mix - in rescue for many years, Zane requires a special home with limited traffic. Has Reactivity that is controllable.
❤ VICTORY & FIJI (M) - 9 yr. our bonded boys! Super laid back and just chill.. these guys are looking to find a couch they can secure together!
❤MOUSE - (M) 2.5 yr terrier mix - in rescue for 2 years this month! Love TALKING. toys, soft beds, playtime and lounging in the sun. Are you looking for a dapper brindle boy like Mouse?
❤TRUBBS - (M) 3 yrs. Chi mix - cuddle buddy Trubbs is sure to never let your feet get cold again! Little guy about 18lbs

Most people are aware that Michael Vick was a dogfighter. They may even have illusions of what they think dogfighting is at its worst or the suspected actions that take place. However, what Vick did was not simple dogfighting.

Picture your dog or your friends dog tossed to a couple of animals trained to fight for humans. Imagine that animal screaming as it is being ripped apart and having its throat ripped out. Imagine the person that tossed that helpless animal to the other animals just laughing as it occurs and later admitting he thought it was funny. That person who tossed the animals to the others is Michael Vick.

Imagine taking a bucket used to hold water, filling it with water, and holding a dogs head in it until it drowns while it stands on land.

Have you ever thought of the image of hanging a dog? He did that too. He also picked them up over his head before slamming them downward on concrete at his full force over and over.

Imagine the blunt force trauma that dog felt as it hit concrete over and over from not dying the first time.

He also attached jumper cables to their ears and tossed them in a pool to electrocute them.

This is not about dogfighting. That has become a separate issue. The acts in dogfighting are disgusting and reprehensible. What Vick did was to take it one step further and find a way to legitimately torture dogs like a horror movie.

He does NOT deserve to be honored. The NFL is CHOOSING this and they deserve the pushback that is occuring.

The NFL has many more wonderful individuals that are using their platform for amazing causes. Google My Cause My Cleats. Google about Warrick Dunn. Google about so many others.

Vick does NOT deserve to be honored.

She was pending when her applicant changed her mind. This is Prosperity. Her mother is an Australian Shepherd and Border Collie mix and Daddy is a purebred Australian Shepherd.
She was born on October 25th 2024. She is available for preplacement adoption.
She will be placed on or around December 23rd.

Well how about this for a BAH HUMBUG Holiday. It seems someone in our HOA (my neighbor) that now has an EVIL, VINDICTIVE, UGLY HEARTED, MARRIED girlfriend, that has decided to Attack and try to sabotage our Charity Fundraiser. So first it was Animal Services because we have Rescue dogs that bark (never left to bark uncontrollably) THEN: the County Code Enforcement, which we had permission to stage our plants in my front yard for a special event purpose. Then it was the HOA to complain that we are running a business out of our home and selling poinsettias from our front yard. Now granted all of our I's are dotted and T's are crossed. This EVIL & UGLY person has reported (fictitiously as the home owner) that this fundraiser is a Nuisance to the neighborhood and she does NOT even live or own in this neighborhood.. I feel REAL SORRY for that kind of a HEARTLESS, INSENSITIVE, SELF-ABSORBED, NARCISSISTIC person. And may her husband discover her deceit. And may Karma Give her what she gives. GOD doesn't like UGLY..

Oh Tukker, we promise your people are out there and we will keep looking for them! This handsome man has been in rescue since early 2023 .. thats right, he has been with us in foster for OVER A YEAR! In that time, only two people have even inquired about him ... how can that be? He doesn't fall under the "bully breed" or "black dog syndrome" he loves other dogs and kids, he lives every day to play with his toys and lay in the sun ... so why have we only had TWO inquiries? Tukker has completed a two-week board and train program with TrainPro in Bradenton, FL, is UTD on his vaccines, microchipped and neutered ... all he needs is his new family! Fostered in Sarasota, FL, meet and greets can be set up through his foster mom. Tukker is nervous meeting new people, he will not beg for attention at first so a patient home where they will give him time to open up is his ideal situation. Tukker is around 1.5-2 years old, mixed breed (honestly we have no clue, he's an odd one) weighs around 50lbs, is athletic in that he likes to go outside to run, bring you toys etc., very food and treat motivated. Are you the lucky winner? We are picking now! Tune in and thanks for helping Joan Crawford. After being abandoned and neglected she was found on the streets of Tampa as a stray. Suffering from multiple medical issues, including but not limited too, several mammory tumors, flea infestation, skin and ear infections, extremely overgrown nails that were almost 2" long and curling, her coat matted to the skin and she was found to have masking tape wrapped around her neck. Her much needed medical care & surgery will make her life so much better. #adoptdontshop

Our boy Tukker is still searching for his forever home … can you believe he’s never had even ONE application?! Why??! He’s a stunning snow white with the slightest of brown on his ears. Cute as a button! Meets you every day after work and first thing when you wake up with his toy choosing, whole body wiggling just so excited to be back in your presence. Tukker has been in foster for a year this month … A YEAR!!!
