Meet Bailey!!
Bailey has been with us here at Bay Road for 2 years now, she started out in our reception area and wanted to expand her career by working more directly with the Dr's and animals and she is now Dr.Tisdale's scribe! When asked what she loves about her job her response was that she " loves working with and learning from Dr.Tisdale" Bailey has 2 Chiweenies who love to make their presence known with their vocal abilities 😂❤️Thank you Bailey and we look forward to many more years working with you!
Meet Jenna!
Many of you have seen Jenna's smiling face through the years at Bay Road, she has been here for 20 years! She has been Dr. Rosenberry's assistant for many years and is now our manager for the assistant department! Jenna is the proud mama of 3 beautiful children and has 2 dogs and 3 cats with a particular fondness for Boxers and Dachshunds ❤️ Thank you Jenna for all of your years of dedication and we look forward to many more!
Meet Kaitlynne!
Kaitlynne has been with Bay Road for 4 years and has been Dr. Tashjian's scribe for 3 years. She started out in our reception area where she provided excellent customer service which she has carried on into her role with Dr. Tashjian! Her favorite thing about being a scribe is taking the time to get to know (and cuddle) all the patients.

Meet Jenn!!
Jenn is our new Scribe manager at Bay Road, she started off as an assistant to Dr.Rosenberry and then as her scribe and then moved to our reception area and decided she wanted to work more directly with the pets, so she went back to scribing and became the manager for that area! she loves being able to learn more every day and being able to grow into her career! She is also a certified dog trainer and often brings her very spoiled, yet well behaved dog Yorick to work with her! Jenn is an amazing asset to our team and we love having her here! Thank you Jenn for all you do!
Meet Carolyn!
Many of you have seen Carolyn's smiling face for many years! She will be with us 16 years in September 🎉🎊 Carolyn is primarily Dr. Smith's assistant but she is always ready and able to help out in all departments and ALWAYS with an amazing attitude! She has a very sweet pug named Harvey and is a proud new grandma of little Ansley❤️ We all love Carolyn and look forward to many more years here with her! Thank you!!
Meet Reni!
Reni has been with us here at Bay Road for about a year and 1/2 and we couldn't be happier! She is helpful and trained in multiple areas of the hospital and is currently in school to become a certified veterinary technician! When asked what she loves about her job here her reply was " Helping animals and their pet parents". Reni is the proud owner of Milo, an adorable Aussie doodle! We love having you here Reni and can't wait to see what the future holds for you!

Desmond has been with Bay Road for 4 years now and you can find him assisting Dr's at both hospitals! When asked what he loves about his job his answer was" every day is a new experience that teaches me something " We couldn't agree more! Desmond is an amazing co-worker and his future plans are to become a Zoo/wildlife Veterinarian! We cannot wait to see what the future holds for you Desmond! Thank you for all that you do😊
Our 2nd highlight of the day is for our very own
Bailey!! This girl is a rock star here at Bay Road Animal Hospital. She is primarily Dr. Tashjian's assistant at the West location, but you can find her helping out in every department. From scribing in the exam rooms to answering your phone calls, she is a woman of many talents! She has been with us since 2021, and when asked what her favorite thing about working at Bay Road Animal Hospital is, She stated, "I like being able to help the pets and pet cuddles"

Today's 1st highlight is one of our newest employees, Julia! She started out in our reception area and decided that she wanted to work directly with all the pets and gain more medical knowledge, she is training to be a scribe, which is one of the ladies that you see in the room with the Dr that takes all of their notes and acts as a liaison often between the client and Dr! She has a particular love of our feline friends and seems to be purrfect for this job😻Thank you Julia!

Our facilities are equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment from Idexx, including Digital Imaging Systems, Catalyst One Chemistry Analyzers, LaserCyte Analyzers, VetLab Stations, and Ultrasound Imaging Systems. Our experienced veterinarians and technicians are eager to teach and are perfect to learn from, especially for relatively new technicians. We would consider a student in veterinary technician school if the candidate is exceptional. Otherwise, all candidates must have veterinary technician experience (certification is preferred). Starting pay varies based upon technician's skill and experience.
The ideal veterinary technician should have highly developed skills in anesthesia, dentistry, laboratory, surgery, radiology, pharmaceutical knowledge, and client communication.

However, both locations will continue to be open Mondays through Fridays (7:30 AM to 5:30 PM). We apologize if this causes any inconveniences! The hospital will still have the after-hours line available through the weekends and should your pet require treatment when we are closed, we recommend seeking out alternate options/emergency care.
