Update: First off, thank you to all friends, family and customers who have reached out and expressed concern and offered help. It means a lot to know I have support. Having my home town obliterated and my livelihood in serious jeopardy is extremely scary. This being said, even as bad as this is for me, many have it WAY worse, having lost their lives and homes. My heart pours out to those people and I wish them support and love.
I am grateful to know that the majority of my friends are accounted for and no animals died from the storm. So far, It is looking like 7 clutches tree monitor eggs and two Pilbara clutches will perish (estimated 100k, uninsurable)
While I have been wishing I was home during this time, being able to have internet and come up with a game plan from afar is a silver lining, as communication back home has been very limited to impossible.

Animals are currently ok, thanks to Emily Burke who was on site when the hurricane hit, and has been watching everything. The generator has been running during the evenings to provide needed heat. Emily is doing well. There is Still food, but this will not last long. Hoping to restock on when I return. Once my propane is gone, I plan on hiking out the heat-loving species in order to place them at temporary housing. I then plan on living at my facility with all the remainder of animals that can handle lower temps. If roads and power is not restored by the time temperatures get too cold in the facility, I will be conducting a phase 2 move out of the remaining collection. I do not have a vehicle to use, as mine is stuck at my house. I am Preparing to not have power and roads restored for months, as the facility and my home are in remote locations. Supplies have to be hiked in (2 miles each way, unless an ATV is present at the time). The bridge that provided access to my road is completely gone, as is the majority of the road. I am told that there is an alternate route being made by the community and a make shift bridge is being constructed from timber.
All this being said, I am temporarily in need of some supplies. If you are willing and able to lend the following items, I am trying to source them for temporary setups.

Supply list:

t-5 lights with clips
*12- 24” T-5 fixtures
*55- 36” fixtures)
*uv not needed, just a functioning bulb will get me by sort term.

Small critter keeper cages, up to 50

8 to 10 - 10 gallon tanks with screen tops.

4’x2’x2’ PVC cages. Or 18” tall.

***All items will be returned and can be picked up once my facility is powered back on***

Hoping that I can get everything moved back home after a couple months. However, my area is remote and likely last on the totem pole to service. There is no set date on when I will have power or means of transportation.
