We’re excited to announce a heartfelt new service at Bella & Lindy Pet Boutique: Private Reactive Dog Shopping Experience.

This special offering is inspired by our beloved Bella, the founding OG of Bella & Lindy. Bella recently passed away, and we miss her dearly. She wasn’t comfortable being around other dogs, so she was never able to visit the store she inspired. To honor her memory, we’ve created this service to ensure that dogs like Bella can enjoy a stress-free shopping experience.

About the Service
Some dogs prefer a quieter, more private shopping environment, and we’re here to make that happen. Our Private Reactive Dog Shopping service offers a peaceful, trigger-free experience for your dog to shop comfortably without distractions.

How It Works
Appointments are available in 20-minute increments.
Choose from two time slots: Friday mornings at 9:30 AM or Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM.
Submit your preferred date via our online request form, and we’ll confirm availability via email.
A brief form will help us tailor the experience to your dog’s unique needs.
Additional Details
All appointments are conducted by the owner.
We kindly request 24-hour notice for cancellations.
Appointments will be canceled if you are more than 10 minutes late without prior notification.
These sessions are offered outside regular store hours to ensure a calm, individualized experience for your dog.

This service is more than just a shopping trip—it’s a tribute to Bella’s memory. We’re proud to provide a safe, welcoming space for all dogs, especially those who need a little extra care. ❤️

Hey friends! That’s a wrap for 2024! 🎇 We’re sharing our updated winter hours above, but first, a quick heads-up: we’ll be closed tomorrow, January 1st, through Friday, January 3rd, to take a little break and catch up on life.

Life threw us another little curveball right before the holidays—while I was working in the store, my parked car downtown was hit and totaled. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but I need some time to take care of a few things.

We’ll be back open Saturday, January 4th, and we can’t wait to see you then! Thank you for your understanding and support—it means so much to us.

🌈 In Loving Memory of Bella 🌈
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Bella’s passing. Over the past few years, she bravely battled heart disease, but despite our hopes to spend one last holiday season with her, she took a turn for the worst.
These past few weeks have been incredibly challenging and especially difficult as it comes just three months after we said goodbye to Lindy. Losing two beloved pups so close together has been heartbreaking as I’ve balanced caring for Bella, running the store, and navigating the loss. It’s been a whirlwind, and I apologize for my absence on social media.
Bella joined our family 10 years ago after being rescued from Puerto Rico, and her transformation was nothing short of remarkable. That last video is when we found her wandering the streets! While she wasn’t very dog-friendly, and many of you didn’t get to meet her, she was a huge part of our lives. Her name, like Lindy’s, will continue to live on through the store.
Please also be patient with Chachi when visiting us. She’s adjusting to being the only pup for the first time, and she misses her buddy, Bella, deeply.
After the holidays, I have some ideas for honoring Bella’s memory, and I can’t wait to share them with you. Thank you for your kindness and support during this time—it means the world to me.
💔 Hug your pups a little tighter for us. Bella, you will forever be missed. 💕

Today, on Giving Tuesday, we’re honoring our founding rescue, Lindy. She was the heart and inspiration behind our boutique, and we miss her dearly every day.
Lindy’s story is one of resilience. Found wandering the streets of Puerto Rico ten years ago, tied to a fence and in dire need of medical attention, she was flown to New York to receive life-saving care. She spent months in the vet hospital battling distemper, and while her survival seemed impossible, she miraculously pulled through. Despite her many medical challenges, Lindy went on to live a long, joyful life, filled with love and care.

In her memory, we want to give other dogs the same chance she had. Today, we’re giving back to the organization that saved Lindy, Save A Sato, which is dedicated to rescuing Puerto Rico’s homeless and abused animals.

Here’s how you can help:
For every purchase of two bags of bulk treats, we’ll donate $10 to Save A Sato. Together, we can help provide medical care, food, shelter, and love to more Satos in need.

Save A Sato is a non-profit organization committed to easing the suffering of Puerto Rico’s street dogs.
