Only 3 horses left racing and all raced well again this week.
Monday Saturn picked up a 4th in the Mares open at Saratoga, and Clay paced 52 (again!!) to be 2nd at Plainridge.
Today Tuesday little miss Jellybean took on some solid mares at Plainridge and dug in to get the win.

We had another great week of racing!
Sunday afternoon Steven came from off the pace and won in 2.01.0 at Saratoga.
Monday afternoon our super filly Saturn met the open mares for her first time and finished 2nd at Saratoga. Clay went to Plainridge and paced the fastest mile of his life, despite being interfered with, to finish 3rd.
Tuesday afternoon queen Jellybean went to Plainridge and paced the fastest mile of her life to finish 4th.

All horses raced amazing this week!
Steven broke his maiden at Saratoga.
Saturn finished 2nd against older mares at Saratoga.
Clay raced very well to be 2nd at Plainridge.
Jellybean fought like the trooper she is to get up to be 3rd at Plainridge.

🧦 made his second lifetime start tonight at Saratoga. After a 3rd last week he was a great 2nd tonight. He’s a huge boy and we’ve just taken it easy on him this year. Hoping he can “learn and earn” a little more before it’s time for vacation 😉

Yesterday Aug 15th was a quick closing 2nd at Saratoga. This big gorgeous c**t is having some issues with interfering, and is still a work in progress.

Tonight 👑 looked like the Jelly we always loved finishing 2nd. She’s had a year full of nonsense and while still racing okay she’s gotten nothing for it. Hope her fall will be better and that she can make up for the first 8 months of the year.
who’s a new face in the barn wasn’t any good in her first start for us last week, but after some changes she looked much better finishing 4th tonight.

🪐 finished out the NY Excelsior series with two 2nd place finishes, at Monticello on Aug 5th and at Yonkers Aug 15th. Despite one despicable draw after another she kept showing up.
Now we can only hope for a couple of uneventful weeks and get ready for the final at Vernon on September 13th 🤞

Sisters and took a daytrip out to Buffalo.

Saturn🪐 raced very tough from an impossible position and finished 2nd.

Jellybean 🫘 was finally ready to pounce after a year that’s been filled with setbacks and raced incredible to get the win, pacing home in 27.1 🤩

Our babies have been out and about!

Last week qualified, she was a little green but did it, she just seemed to need more time and some equipment changes, so she got to sit out this week.

This week our 3 brutes qualified.
is a good sized horse with a long stride and got a little hesitant in the turns, but still paced a LQ in 28.1, and couldn’t wait to take off in the straight aways. He can’t wait to get to a big track 🤩

is massive and is having a little bit of trouble with interfering. But we’re hopeful we’ll figure it out as he trotted his mile in 2.06 but was barely blowing afterwards 🙃

was in a group of nice babies whom all had qualified sub 2 mins last week. Bob just tagged along and we were pleasantly surprised to see him pace his mile in 59.

3 yr old filly came to us in January. She was doing well until an injury from last year caused issues that required surgery and over a month of stallrest.
She was given a guarded prognosis but has overcome it all so far. Just showing how tough Standardbreds are. If she stays on track she’ll hopefully qualify in a couple of weeks! 🤞
