A little life update - it has been a LONG minute! We’ve been pretty chill over here at our Baby Bunny Patch, but we did welcome some new residents/neighbors. 🐥🐥🐥🐥 If you’ve been here a while, you might remember us mentioning the kids have wanted chickens for years! We finally let our oldest convince us she could make it happen! We are converting our smaller bunny hutch into a coop to make room for these ladies. Snowball met them briefly through the cage & seems happy to have some friends. Time will tell. We started with 4 chicks, but our girl wants to add one more breed. She’s buying everything for them, so sure?! Why not?! I’ve lost control of this mini farm of ours! We need to get on it & find us a new Mama Bun, though!! Snowball needs the companionship & hopefully he can have a litter or two for us before he retires. He will stay with us even when he retires. I love him too much to ever let him go!! We only want a few litters every year. Keep it simple, so two breeding bunnies should be good. One big reason we’re keeping it simple…??? In addition to chickens, we’re adding to our human numbers at the end of the summer. Another little kiddo will be joining our Patch & I’m pretty glad we downsized in time for that. As much as I love our little bunnies, the little humans are taking my focus & energy right now 😁 Don’t ask how adding chickens fits into that equation…. They don’t 🤣 but here we are!! Pop in the comments & say “hi!” I’ve missed you!

We’re back-to-school next week, how about you?? Soooo…. It’s been a minute! We’ve been horrible about sharing our current babies, so here’s this cutie! We call him Bagherra. Based on the hints of sepia you get in some pictures, I’m confident he is a black seal - aaBbcchlcchlD_E_. He will be able to leave in a little over a week. Buona notte from Italia!! Me & our oldest are spending another week in Europe while Dad & the other kids care for the house & bunnies back home. They are doing an amazing job, bringing them inside on the extra hot days. We’ll have pictures of our 4 babies when we get home! They’ll be available to reserve at that point as well. Y’all, my daughter & I will be gone on a trip of a lifetime to Europe for the next 12 days. We likely won’t be getting on here while we’re away & our babies will be HUGE when we get back!! I waited all those years to get a chocolate marten & then Mama Coco threw us one last litter & another this time. The other is a chocolate otter! We’re getting a lot of inquiries, so I will direct everyone with questions to this post. If you have questions after thoroughly reading through, send me a private message! If your question can be answered in this post, I’ll kindly have you reread it 😉

We’re in a delicate stage where a number of things could go wrong for any of the babies. We generally do not post many pictures or information during this time should we end of losing any or all of the babies. For this same reason, we do not reserve any babies before 4 weeks.

I will post pictures & information as I have them. I will be gone for 2 weeks (7/14-7/26) & while my husband is more than capable of helping our kids with the rabbits, the social media/communications is my side of things, we will be unavailable to answer questions during that time. I’ll also be jet lagged when I get back, so please have patience.

While we are fairly confident with genders, we do not post them before 4 weeks & even then never guarantee gender 100%. The gender fairy is real with bunnies!

Most inquiries find another rabbit sooner than ours become available. If you are truly interested it is your job to reach out to express interest, follow along, & then apply at reservation time. ***We do NOT have a waiting list - it is your responsibility to reach out at reservation time*** we know you just want a bunny to love & we’re happy for you no matter where you find one! We’ve learned that a waiting list is time consuming & usually only yields about 1/10 actual buyers. We do look back to see who has been patiently waiting & give priority to those individuals, so long as we can reach you on reservation day. We also give 1st pick to those who have bought from us before - just reach out to express interest. We also LOVE referrals!

We only have 4 potential babies. They go fast! We’re sorry if you don’t end up getting one. We are hoping to welcome 1 or 2 more litters soon.

At this time we aim to sell to pet-homes only & pedigrees will not be available. Should we still have babies available, we may consider breeders for certain colors. Please inquire for $$ if interested

8th grade ✅ I’m in denial that we only have one more year of junior high & that it’s technically still high school. Mahala loves that she gets to “skip school” the last day to watch the dance festival at Harvest. I love having the dance festival on the last day and that it wasn’t insanely hot this year. Now Mahala is off with her friend helping at the temple open house. She’ll have a busy summer going to girls camp, FSY, & obviously her big trip! I think it’ll be a good one

Ganache 🍫 I’ll start with this handsome boy! Okay… here’s the deal… he’s not officially up for reservation yet. I really don’t want another boy right now & I’m not sure if a seal is what we want, but I just have that feeling. That feeling that if we let him go I will probably regret it! I’ve had a few of those over the years & we’ll get an updated pic & I do end up regretting it! So we’re watching him for now. Feel free to let me know if you are interested in waiting for him.
