🐴Horse of the week🐴
✨Crimson✨

Crimson is a mustang from the Nevada Wild Horse Range. Cassidy adopted him in the fall of 2022.
He was CJH’s first mustang. Scroll through all the pictures to see what he looked like when we got him.
He made us fall in love with these horses and we now have several more.
Crimson is 6 years old.
While being young and freshly trained he entered the lesson program quickly due to his loving and gentle personality. Crimson had many youth riders that have put a lot of work into his training.
He showed with a youth rider this year for his very first show season!
Crimson will be traveling to Florida to compete in a mustang only competition in January!
This horse is irreplaceable and a favorite of many kids here at the barn!

✨Horse of the week✨
🐴Dawson🐴
Dawson is 11 years old. He came to Alabama from Texas with Macie. Macie and Dawson go way back. She started working with Dawson when he was 3 and has been with him ever since! Dawson has an old soul and a perpetual grumpy look on his face. But underneath his grouchy exterior he is a patient teacher who does his job incredibly well and loves snuggles from his fans. He has been with CJH for 2 years and has made many friends since being here. Dawson’s best horse friend is Hazel who he is never far from. Dawson’s favorite treats are apples of any kind. He has moved around for most of his life but he is here to stay with this barn family!

CJH 2025 Barn Fall Party!
Thank you to everyone that participated, helped, or just came to support!!
We had a horse costume contest, pumpkin carving contest line dancing and our drill team performed! Lots more pictures to come!

Things don’t always go as planned, but that’s just how it goes.
Thankful for emergency vets and recommendations from our friends!
We had a horse go through a fence this morning, resulting in a rebuilt fence and emergency vet visit and stitches. We will spare the pictures🥴
We are thankful for all our kids helping in the barn today! Yall got to see the real and raw part of horses!
