We will not be at the Downtown Hattiesburg Farmers Market on Thursday. We are sold out of mushrooms until Saturday. This colder weather has the mushrooms growing very slowly this week so we will be back to Hattiesburg next week!

EDITED-- Update. We now have our second family. I have been talking to several other organizer and The Pass Market will be helping a family of 4 two adults and 2 little one still in diaper. I think if you we could have some diapers donated Size 5 diapers that would be a great help. If I get permission to share their name I will.

The first family we are helping is William E. Skipper family...I have their wish if any one would like it...or you can contact them directly and use the Pass Market as a drop-off point for this Saturday. if that is more helpful

The Pass Market will be helping two families ( I am sadden we cannot help all 8). By helping two of these families, we can solely focus on them and allowing other organizations and ppl donating focus on the other 6. The Management team and Board Members of The Pass Market do not personally know these families. They came to us by recommendation. I have been communicating with one of the families.. and have a wish list of items they need. if you would like to see the wish list please contact me and I will share that with you.. for their privacy I will not disclose who they are.

Both families are in need of items listed below

Being these families have lost EVERYTHING, there is a need for everything. Our Goal is to try and provide as many new items as we can and as much cash as can. The Pass Market is reaching out to you the community. If you would like to help. I am asking that maybe you can go to Walmart and purchase a set of dishes, or pots and pans, shower curtains, coffee pots , towels.. etc. You can create a Kitchen basket with hand towels, dish clothes, dish soap, cleaners , things we all use in our kitchen, or maybe a bathroom basket with towels, wash clothes etc...

We are also taking cash and gift card donations so, they are free to pick the items they choose and buy the items they know they need. 100% of what is collected will go to these families, there will no fees or paying labor. The families will receive 100% of what is donated.

If you are purchasing an items like dish ware, pots and pans items for the house things like that. Whatever we have more than two of will be donated to other families that were affected by this fire as well.

Please feel free to text me or message me (Sherry Hough). I can schedule a pick-up or meet you at War Memorial Park. If it is a piece of furniture, I am asking that dropped off at my home as I have no means at the time to transit it. If you are buying new items. Please feel free to meet at the Pass Market / War Memorial Park this Saturday between 10am -11am. Please text or message me if you are coming.

Together we can do great things to help this community during this devastating loss and time. Together lets stands and make a difference and bring some hope to these families .
