Missy Update

Missy is still having issues but is getting better every day. She loves her foster home with her foster mom and sister! JCR Founder Jeanne and JCR volunteer got to meet her on Saturday. It is amazing to see how an old gal like Missy could endure who knows what from a ‘rescuer’ and loves with all her heart! This week if her condition with her stomach stays the same, she will need more testing so we are going to continue to raise funds for her care. Thank you for donating. Introducing…. Petey

Petey is the newest addition to the Just Cause foster family! This guy was found wandering the streets of Long Beach. After a 3 weeks stay at their facility Petey went home with his foster family! His foster family says : Petey has been amazing since the minute we met him. -He and my dogs have gotten along since they met. -He loves to play and cuddle. He is also content just chewing on his toy. He absolutely loves people, kids and adults, and he wants to meet everyone when he sees them. -He's responding well to his name and comes when we call him.He loves to go out on the leash but wants to explore everywhere. -We are working on him pulling, but he doesn't fight it when we pull him back to where he needs to be.He has not had any accidents at all. He's learned very quickly on how to tell us he needs to go out. -He is still a young dog, so we are still working on jumping, but he is making progress. He gets excited, and just like any kid, he gets an energy boost. -He sleeps in a kennel at night right now and does well. He isn't always a fan of going to bed, but what kid is? -He is incredibly smart, handsome, and sweet. He will make a great addition to someone's family.

𝗪𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱! Piggy Sue (aka wander) came to JUST CAUSE -Helping Local South MS Pits after she was given to a 2nd foster home from a local county shelter. Amanda Rogers and her family helped Wander blossom by learning and teaching her hand signals since she is deaf. Very good friends of the rescue saw her photos and now she gets to go their business and home! Saturday, check our page, to meet the rescues newest foster dog, Petey. We are waiting a week for the foster family to learn about him so we can pass all the info to you!
