On April 27, 2023, Best of Friends started mailing applications for financial assistance to people who requested them as a result of this posting. As of August 25, we have sent 88 applications to low income pet owners requesting them. Hopefully this will result in more pets getting spayed or neutered.

Check it out! Heartworm larva in whole blood under the microscope! Don't forget to get your pet tested for Heartworm disease this summer!
