Earlier this Spring, we renovated two of our rooms: the Main Room and the Tropical Room; in Fall we will do it with our third room The Country Room. We want to share some pictures with you of us hosting our guests.

We also want to thank everyone who chose to come to Top Dog this summer. We have really enjoyed all the guest pets and strive to provide the best care possible.

We are almost through our busy season, and things are going great! We still have room for boarding and are now taking new dogs for grooming with the addition of Danielle as our second groomer. It’s been nice for our pet guests to be outside at times on the green grass. Inside is busy with the many summer guests we have. We continue to keep up with the cleaning and sometimes move things around to better serve our guests' needs.

Welcome Danielle to the Top Dog Family!

We just wanted to let you all know that Danielle, our part time groomer, started grooming at Top Dog today! She has went through corporate academy for grooming and has been grooming professionally for 7 years. She will groom Mondays, Thursdays, and every other Saturdays (Starting Saturday, June 22nd)! We will also open up to our boardings if you would like to book a bath or groom during your stay. Call us at 815-832-4619 to book!

Hi Dear Top Dog Clients : Just letting everyone know we had tried using a new booking program for Top Dog. We ended up not keeping this new booking program but in the process that new program was deleted before we could be sure we got all information off. So there may be a few glitches in the coming days. If anything does cause issues we will do our best to fix things. We think it only involves a very few people.
We are working to have a booking appointment for boarding with our old system program which will be access thru a link address not an app.

You can still booking for your boarding appointments at 815 8324619 as well for grooming appointments, now we are taking New Clients and returning Clients with our new Experienced Groomer Danielle.

Attention! Top Dog has some exciting News!
Due to all the requests we had for grooming we have added a new Groomer to our staff. So we are now taking new clients for grooming.

Top Dog would like to give To Danielle a warm welcome into the Top Dog family!

Danielle, our new groomer, will take new clients for grooming as Lily will keep her current groomings. Clients who normally do bath packages, if you would like something sooner than what Lily has available if you feel comfortable having Danielle do we will accommodate you there.

Danielle comes to us as an experienced Groomer. She has been a full Groomer from the last past 7 years. She will be working along side Lily to take care of all the central Il grooming.

Here Danielle bio: "I love all animals of all shapes and sizes! I am very passionate about grooming! I've been working with animals for 14 years (7 grooming) and I'm excited to become part of the top dog family!

This is a special post for me. Always I'm been involved working with animals since 1993 after I graduated from college with animals farms. When I came to America in 2000, l start grooming in a Vet Clinic and 16 years ago I started in my own grooming opening Top Dog. I had many puppies and now I still have a small group which I want to show them.
When I start working in this industry I never tough happen to see may gone and is been sad las two years.
But I'm been blessed to have the opportunity to know many puppies and as well the worderful parents. These dogs will always be special because they were my first. Very hard for me as many of my first dogs are at the end of life stage. But very thankful for the time I had. 💕

Hi Top dog family! We here at Top Dog have been very busy the last few weeks preparing for the summer vacation season. We just redid the floors and they look great. Also been busy cleaning and painting many things and areas. We look forward to all our guests coming through the year and hope they have an enjoyable experience with us at Top Dog.

This past week for grooming we were full of Malteses! First we had all Aussie dogs for boarding now it's all Malteses for grooms! So amazing to see the same breed of pups have their own look to them! Very pretty breed! 😊🐾💕

Today is the launch of our new program that we are going to start using! You can now start making Boarding reservations through the Paw Partner app! This app you can update all your pets information such as medical records, feeding instructions and many more! You can also receive pictures of your pets through the app as well!

If you are already an existing client through us, you should have already received an email today from Paw Partner telling you to link your account with us. If you did not get an email from Paw Partner and you are an existing client please feel free to message or email us with a good email address and we can help get you all set up!
