Our Kailani, a Hahns Macaw parrot, got surprised by something and flew off Monday night August 12th. She is trained to free fly and knows where our house is, she’s just flown a bit too far this time. We live in Berwick.

(She’ll fly to you for a bag of chips or a box of cereal)

Due to the high risk of dangerous road conditions, flooding and tornados tomorrow, our office will be closed. All scheduled appointments for Tuesday are cancelled and we will reach out to our beloved clients to rebook your pets as soon as we return to the office. We will make every effort to re-open on Wednesday but will continue to track the storm and monitor the safety of roads and conditions. Please check social media outlets for updates.

If your pet has an emergency The Savannah Veterinary Emergency Clinic is open 24/7 for your pet’s emergency medical needs. They can be reached at 912-355-6113

If you require their services, please send an email to notify us that you had your pet seen and to request their medical records. We will check our office email a few times throughout the day to monitor for urgent needs. You can reach us at [email protected]

We will be open for normal business hours 8-5 next week. We will be closed for Christmas on Monday 12/25 and Tuesday 12/26.
We will then be open for normal business hours the remainder of the year.

Please make sure to obtain all medications, food and supplies before the end of business on Friday 12/22 and if you have concerns or need wellness care, give our office a call to set up an appointment early in the week to avoid the Friday panic and holiday rush.

The blessing of having Dr Drummond join the Berwick Team is allowing us to reach back to our long Summer waitlist for new patients to join our family. Dr Drummond is a graduate of UGA and Ross University! She is originally from SAVANNAH! and has come home to Georgia after practicing veterinary medicine for several years in Cincinnati, Ohio!
