Phin update!! Just a little over 6 months old, I weighed him today and he came in at 25 lbs 7oz!! He is a solid chunk💞.

This guy also absolutely tests my patience!! Don't let his cute face fool you, he can be a jerk!! Don't get me wrong, I love him completely but I've never had one that just doesn't care to hold his p*e until going outside. He's been checked, not a physical issue, he just doesn't care!! He goes out every 30 minutes. I finally caved and put a "diaper" on him, for the just in case times, because if it's past 30 minutes, he's going to p*e. Come on spring, hopefully we'll get that figured out.

7 Cairns + baths, nail trims and sanitary cleanups = my aching back!! I didn't get any after pictures yet but they certainly look a lot better!!!

AKC Boston and Cairn Terriers

We have always had dogs, as pets and as working stock. I grew up on a farm and my dad raised dogs and I have carried on that passion. We had Boxers for years and after the kids all left the nest, decided we wanted the boxer look but in a smaller form. Little did we know that with that decision, we would learn to love these as if they are our own kids. They live with us and keep us active! Also, I always wanted a Cairn so four years ago I decided I had waited long enough and of course, you can’t have just one! So now my hubby and I live with 4 Boston’s and 2 Cairn’s and can’t imagine life without them! We only raise one litter a year and are very careful in their care and placement. The puppies don’t go outside until they are ready to go to their new homes. They will have 2 rounds of shots and up to date on wormer as well. They will have a small bag of food that they are fed so that you have time to adjust to a new food if you desire. We went grain free with our adult babies about a year ago and that is how we feed our babies as well.
