The CRAH Staff wants to make sure everyone knows that it is now possible to register your pets rabies tag with the Champaign County Animal Control online. Make sure you are selecting the correct tag though. It is either a 1 year or 3 year. If you have any questions you can reach Champaign County Animal Control at 217-384-3798.

Sorry for such a late post. I was hoping to get a post in around the beginning of the year but things got crazy. I am wanting to start something new where we introduce new patients and welcome them to our family so without further ado....

Everyone say hi to Vader (Rottweiler) and Buddy (Bloodhound Mix) who came in for their puppy shots. Both are sweet boys who love cuddles and kisses. We can't wait to see them grow!

This little "Sweet Bea" (Beatrice) was found in a car engine by a construction crew working nearby. Nobody could keep her and medicate her infected eye, so her foster (who is a friend of CRAH) took her in. Dr. Dolder has been overseeing the care of her eye, and it is almost 100% healed up now...That means it is time to find a permanent adopter for this little peanut as soon as possible! She is about 11 weeks old now and the happiest kitten ever! She is high energy, playful but gentle with her sharp little teeth and claws, patient and content, and always hungry as a horse! She roars into a loud purr as soon as she is touched or handled at all, and appears to be an affectionate character who view her caretaker-foster mom with adoration. She tolerates eye drops without fussing and didn't appear to even feel her first vaccination. She is on her way to being a well-adjusted, sweet natured and joyful member of some future family. She is a beautiful tortoiseshell, with her bright eyes shining through a mask pattern on her face, and a white spot of fur on her belly.
