If you’re considering welcoming a doodle pup to your family, be ready for the maintenance of their hair! Even though they don’t necessarily shed, their hair is a lot of work!

If you’re not going to take the brushing of their hair and 6 week grooming appointments seriously, think twice!

Goldendoodles are dog breeds known for their thick, fluffy double coat that’s easily matted (but SO worth the work). They’re low-droolers and don’t shed much which is ideal for keeping your house clean.

We suggest a slicker brush, rake comb + long metal comb, we also like Chi Dog Shampoo + a leave in conditioning product!
