This colony newcomer is very lucky there is a dedicated caretaker that Whiskers Rescue trained & supports. He was recently trapped and brought for neuter where it was discovered he had a large laceration running from his flank to his stomach. We were happy to provide the additional veterinary care needed to suture the wound and prevent infection. Due to the nature of our work, we often don’t have the chance to share these types photos with you—but that’s not because these situations don’t occur. Your continued support allows us to continue offering this vital care and ongoing support to feral caretakers.
