Whiskers Rescue Inc. Whiskers Rescue focuses on humanely stopping the cycle of cats and kittens born to suffer outside. We are a small group of 2 very dedicated women.

Despite our size we manage to fund hundreds of spay/neuter vouchers for low-income residents annually with a goal of empowering people feeding cats to become caretakers that control the population of cats they feed.

This morning we have a full email box with requests for information and help. We need to catch up with vet bills for the colonies we are currently funding. Stop in to start your holiday shopping or donate jewelry you no longer wear to stock our shelves. We can also use scrap silver and / gold to spay more strays! Come in and have some fun. Congratulations to our determined, new feral-fixer in Elizabeth, NJ. Though trying to TNR neighborhood cats for a few years, she’s been unable to trap as many as desired due to lack of resources. By utilizing our voucher program, she is now proud to share this cat below will never deliver another litter— and she is continuing to trap other cats. Good job & thank you for your persistence❣️

The vet bills are piling up! We are in the early stages of 5 different colonies iwth 5 new Feral Fixers which means vouchers are flying out the door every day to cover their cats. We always tell every Feral Fixer if a new cat shows up contact us immediately for help. Waiting to act or assuming they will not stay often leads to a growing colony. Thankfully some take this to heart. We sent more vouchers to 2 of these wonderful women this week. We need to catch up. Stop in to shop our sale or gather jewelry you no longer wear to stock our shelves. Help keep our programs going and have some fun!
