Mutt Monday
Well the holidays didn't slow CHS down. This Mutt Monday we want to introduce you all to Lucky. He was recently surrendered to CHS due to issues in his family. He is about 2 years old and weighs right around 15lbs. This guys is ready and waiting for a new family. He has lived and played with cats in his previous home and also has lived with little kids. He isn't a huge fan of other dogs, especially if they are in his space. He loves to play fetch and honestly would love to have a lap to sit on. This guys is potty trained, to go on pads if needed, but will also potty nicely on a leash. Lucky is already neutered and ready to go on a home visit today.

Once you have an approved application on file we can then schedule a time for you to come and meet him. Lucky's adoption fee is $250.00, that includes him being current on vaccinations, microchipped, treated for fleas and treated for worms.

Mutt Monday
This week we would like to introduce you to Jewel. This sweet shepherd mix is about 4-5 months old. She is a very good girl, she can be a little shy when she first meets you, but once she is comfortable, she will follow you around all day long. She gets along with other dogs and doesn't even seem to mind cats. She is still a puppy, so is just learning about how to be a good girl. Right now she weighs right around 35lbs. We anticipate when full grown she will be about 55-65lbs. Her perfect family will be ready to invest the time that she is going to need to learn to be a good girl. She is going to be energetic and will need to be kept busy not only physically but also mentally. If she is left on her own she will create her own fun that probably isn't going to be desired behavior. She is quick to learn and will be a great addition to a family looking to invest in her and how great she is.

Mutt Monday
Alright guys this is King Arthur. His foster is telling us that " Honestly - what a good boy - he’s almost totally potty trained, is great in the crate at night, stays in his pen when we need him to, loves the pups and the kitties, he’s getting better on the leash….. he’s not hyper or demanding….. just wants to make you happy and get belly rubs! He’ll be a great addition to any family!" I mean who can turn that 5 start review down. These guys are 16 weeks old. Were recently surrendered becasue the owner could not find homes for them. The parents are being altered and we are finding these guys amazing homes. If you are interested in meeting this guy please email [email protected] in order to obtain an adoption application. Mutt Monday
Ok guys seriously, we don't understand why this guy is still in the shelter system. You have all met Brother before. He is a 6 year old German Short Hair pointer. He is a great guy, very high energy, he likes to play with dogs, but will chase cats. He needs room to run, and a home that will challenge his brain. I am told her loves to snuggle and one of his favorite things to do is lay under the covers on the bed and snuggle.
