Columbia County's Employee Events Committee is asking for your help.

The Events Committee is conducting a Pet Supply Drive to benefit Columbia County Animal Control. You can help by donating basic animal supplies such as wet and dry food, treats, flea and tick treatment, dewormer, heartworm preventative, cot-type beds, Kong toys, towels, and blankets. You can also drop off the following cleaning supplies: Dawn dish soap, bleach, laundry detergent, Odoban (eucalyptus scent), sponges, dish brushes, and trash bags.

The Events Committee is accepting donations at the courthouse at 230 Strand Street in St. Helens from August 21st through September 8th.

If you prefer to contribute financially (for veterinary care), please mail or deliver donations to Columbia County Animal Control, 901 Port Ave. in St. Helens, or online at columbiacounty.info/PsD2023. Thank you!

A variety of proteins provides a variety of nutrients to create balance in all the essentials over time.
Tips for rotational feeding:
🐾 We suggest to rotate whenever you restock on food.
🐾 If you have a picky/sensitive eater, mix a little of the new protein with the old protein, gradually increasing the amount each day until they are switched over.
🐾 If you feed multiple times a day, you could feed one protein in the morning and another at night.
🐾 If your pet can only tolerate a single protein, try adding in toppers such as fruits, vegetables, bone broth, raw goat milk, or eggs.

It’s extremely important to have your dogs nails trimmed on a regular schedule. If nails are not trimmed they are more prone to breaking, splitting, or being snag on something.

We are excited to announce that Purrz and Paws Pet Supplyis officially a Red Door Retailer for Stella & Chewy's which means, it’s back. The full kibble line, treats, freeze dried, etc. frozen will be stocked as soon as the new freezer arrives. Cat will follow in approximately a month.
