Be jealous of the floof. I love grooming this little guy, his before and after is such a dramatic difference. Hes on a 4 week schedule. Of course I forgot to take his before this time. Enjoy his handsomeness and floof.

This lovely lady is 18 years old and came in to get some help with her coat. We were able to get her combed out and shave some matted areas on her. She feels so much better. Such a beautiful girl and a very sweet little lady.

We had this beautiful Polish Tatra in for a makeover, including a bath, thorough deshedding and to remove some matting on her hind end. This was her first ever trip to the groomer. Such a sweet girl and she did a great job being brave.

The Polish Tatra Sheepdog is large stock guardian dog and has a very thick double coat. They shed out their undercoat twice a year. Regular brushing will help keep this dogs coat in good condition in between grooms.

It’s fair week! Come on out to the Columbia County Fair and Rodeo in St. Helen’s this week. Come out and see all the projects these hard working 4H kids have been working on the past year. Today is Kids Day. Everyone under the age of 17 gets in free.

How gorgeous is Ms. Sammie?! She is on a 8 week schedule and really enjoys her spa day. She has a very greasy coat with a lot of dandruff and sheds a ton. She gets a thorough comb out, degreasing treatment and then a wash with a degreasing shampoo, followed by an oatmeal shampoo to soothe her skin.

This is a very special girl. She has such a kind and gentle temperament. It was such a pleasure getting to spend a few hours with her and get her all pretty.

We ended up with quite a bit of snow. Horses are double blanketed and I’m bringing hot water to mix in their buckets every couple hours to keep them drinking. Betty had her best friends over to play today. Bella is not a fan of the snow and neither are my house cats. The barn cats have me a hilarious show earlier rolling and playing in the snow. Now they are all snuggled in their blanket fortress in the cozy tack room. Hopefully will do some sledding tomorrow. What are some of your favorite things to do in the snow? Are you a fan of the snow or not? Hope all the furry babies are staying warm with their humans.

I love how still and quiet everything is when it snows. What’s your favorite think about the snow?

Our dogs are getting a new Wubba and some treats, cats are getting some nip and mouse toy, the bun will get some bunny yummies and horses get some molasses treats. We will take the dogs on a hike Christmas morning.
